Daz's father (fraser) is Daz's father's (fraser) son = verys correct.
 |
Daz's father (Fraser) = Daz's father's (Fraser) son (Daz)
Fraser = Fraser's son
Fraser = Daz
Not very correct...

dAz,
What I get out of your example is:
dAz' Fraiser is Fraiser's dAz.
How is that possible?

Loonboy - Your remark made me remember a joke I read on here that's kinda funny:
Two fat guys are sitting in a bar...
One says to the other "Your round".
So the other says "So are you, you fat bastard !"

Made me laugh
Loonboy

Lol.
Okay, so it's 'your father's son's' round.

my brain hurts after reading the last few pages
(ok so it doesn't take much)
2 fathers and 2 sons go fishing
they each catch a fish but the total of fish caught is 3
why?
Loonboy
Apr 14 2003, 07:56 PM
Because one of the fish caught was thrown back in and caught again?
Mystify

Space Moose
Apr 14 2003, 07:59 PM
They catch only three fish because there are only three people that went fishing. The youngest had his father and his grandfather fishing with him.
2 sons, 2 fathers but only 3 fish.

Okay, here is a new riddle for everyone out there:
What is flat on the bottom, pointed at the top and has ears?
Halo_Jones
Apr 15 2003, 09:38 AM
Blimey!!!! This thread progressed 4 pages since I was here last.
Halo looks all innocent

and says........"Hmmm I'v had a chance to think about the riddle now, and Homer my Dear,

I take back my Nah! Nahs! as I'v worked out, all by myself of course,

that you were right.

and I was misguided".
Homer
Apr 15 2003, 12:16 PM
That's ok Halo.
But you jumped all over it as if I'm never wrong. Let me tell you Halo, I'm wrong about a great many things, and I'm not very good at riddles. So I'm actually suprised I understood this one. It was Phantom who actually figured it out, anyway. I had the easy task of just agreeing with him

Guessing here NOBODY has the answer to my riddle yet... tss, tss...
Kismit - nop - it's not "sword"...
I will give the answer in three hours from posting this (if all's well). Does anybody want fifteen minutes of fame by solving it? Here's your final opportunity.

Space Moose, I'm sure the answer isn't~a chocolate bunny,
I can't stop thinking about Easter I guess.
And I guess Phantom is going to make us suffer another day
without giving us the answer to his riddle.
Space Moose
Apr 15 2003, 09:27 PM
Nope, not a chocolate bunny. Anyone else want to hazard a guess?

KC,
Space Moose had already given the answer, it's incorrectly. I think he might have missed it the first go around.
