The things weren't really moving. I'd say rock formations or schools of fish. But, I didn't zoom in and I had WMP in skin mode...

You prematurely judged the situation tarabull! rolleyes.gif It dosn't say that this "Ogopogo" video was taken in Okanagan Lake.

The Ogopogo is theorized to be an "instinct" Zueglodon (Which is/was a whale)

Whales can enter into freshwater for a short period of time, but can not survive there because of insufficent food, But yes, there are whales in Okanagan (See Link.)

Now, I've been looking to see if Okanagan is freshwater or saltwater, and I did find this:

"Although Forel originally considered limnology to be "the oceanography of lakes", a modern definition of limnology includes the study of all inland waters, including lakes, streams, springs, puddles, ponds, etc. Limnology includes the study of inland salt lakes (e.g. Mahoney Lake and Robert Lake in the Okanagan Valley) as well as all freshwater habitats. Limnology includes the study of physical and chemical aspects of water, as well as biology." [Source]

This means that the lakes in the Okanagan area are both saltwater and freshwater, so whales could be found either way.

Aside from saying it was a whale it could also be: A wake, an optical illusion, a sturgeon, a school of fish, or even something we don't know about [i.e. something man-made caused the "monster" before it was taped]

i'm just curious CR, have there ever been any reported sightings of 2 or more ogopogos at the the same time?

or is it just an individual creature, that comes in from the ocean or something?

I use to live in Nakusp B.C. which is about 3 hours from Kelowna, that is right on lake Okanogan. I have been there many times, never seen the ogopogo though. I have never heard about the lake being saltwater or partly saltwater. I have swam in the ocean and in Lake Okanogan many times and i'm pretty sure it's fresh water. It could be a sturgen but they like to hang out at the bottom/bottom feeder, school of fish Hmmmm the wave or wake is to big to be created by a school of trout.

I heard about another encounter last summer where a family on a houseboat, was rocked pretty good and I think there was footage I will try to find It. Well just my thoughts. Later.
Hotoke
an interesting video. Are the uso's moving or not? i cant tell

Just so you know I'm not talking about Okanagan Lake being saltwater, I'm taking about other lakes in the Okanagan Valley region.
Vitalogy
The larger creature certainly "hangs" in the water much like a Whale does. It's strange and intriguing, but doesn't look all that serpent-like.

The video is honestly really hard to tell what the figure could be. Honestly, ogopogo is "believed" to be a snake shaped figure" and I'm not really sure if a large snake of the unknown figure of the lake would stay in one spot slowly. I'm saying this because to me, both figures look like their traveling very slowly. Like someone mentioned, it could always be a school of fish moving slowly or treading water.

Honestly, this is planet Earth and we may never know, fact or ficton. But I believe it could just be anything to a large eel or a school of fish, thats my opinion. Also, their is a possiblilty of freshwater sharks or dolphins in the area of nearby.

Sumamrized: An unknown snake-like cryptid living in a random lake that has been believed to be an ancient snake to a dinosaur-like snake that has never been seen before. Like "Champ" and the "Loch Ness Monster", its a random encountered figure to be seen in any ordinary lake.

Umm,for one thing, that doesn't look like penticto, and another, those creatures look more like plesiosaurs than a snakelike serpent like the Ogopogo...
Mysteryman
Those figures in the sea-tops, like you have said, I don't think they could be waves but they could be any ordinary known animal just floating a-top...
