when i was a 12 r so we lived close to the lake that had a bride over it called the six mile bridge but actually it was only about 2 miles anyway one night me and my dad where crossing the bride and there was a light above the water that actually looked like a really big star but it was real close to the water kinda hovering but dad said since we lived so close to ft polk which is in louisiana but we lived right across the lake on the texas side anyway ft polk is a military base ...we stopped on the bridge and watched it for about 20 min of so and it kinda hovered up and down and side to side when we left it was still there ....i didnt kow the military had anything that could do that any idea on what i could have been?

It was a ufo. You know why? Because you said it hovered, and you could't identify the object. You described it as a star. Kind of like in the Bible.

well it was for sure a ufo because i dont know what it was, but as far a something like a flying saucer with someone in it i dont think so because it really didnt look like something someone could be flying

Well, looks can be decieving. It might not have been a flying saucer...
but then again... it could have been.

It could have been something that the government was working with, maybe some new form of weapon. That may be a bit far out there though.

Swamp gas and weather balloons can not against the wind let alone hundreds or thousand of miles per hour, Or for that matter travel in space.

When I was 10 years old I stood on our homes large, open porch watching a thunder storm. Not far away was a very small stream with lots of trees growing around it. I saw a rather large, bright, ball floating down the gully. It touched an metal I-Beam we had put across the creek as a make shift bridge, where it disappeared with a load BANG!
My father ran out and asked what happened. But when I told him he told my mom I had a great imagination.
Now science accepts and acknowledge the existence of Ball Lightning, Piso-electric lights, and Ionic Plasmas spheres. These are all natural but it took years to prove.

When i was 8 in the 70s i went to see my mate at his house as i knocked at his door i turned around to see a blood red orb as big as a transit van (about 5m long and about the same hight) drop behind trees at the side of his house . then all i remember is that i went home said to my mum that nobody was home at my mates and forgot about it untill i was about 16 . I remember that the streets were empty nobody was around at 2.00pm in the afternoon on a sunday no kids no cars and i remember that i had a feeling that somthing was very wrong it was a very strange feelling like i was in a dream this is the first time i have said anything to any one it was a very strange feeling .one thing i do remember is that it was not the sun as it was a dark winter afternoon thats why the red orb sticks in my mind ...............

ok i asked my dad about my ufo and he said it was just a flair are something the army ppl in ft polk where practicing with he said there are always things like that around there cause of the base
