Hi all

I have to agree 'What dreams may come' is the most beautiful movie ever made. It also deals with things that are close to my beliefs to, and reminds me of the relationship I have with my girl friend, as I would go to hell and back for her too, I know that sounds cheesy, but its true.

Here is a list of my most favourite movies in random order as they come to my head, I cant name them all as I like so many.

The Wicker man

The Terminator 1 & 2

Alien and Aliens

The Crow

The butterfly effect

Rambo first blood

The Amitiville horror

Poltergeist

Ghostbusters blush.gif

Back to the future

The company of wolves

An American werewolf in London

The lost boys

Interview with the vampire

Watership down

Boogie nights

Gorillas in the mist

Misery

The Evil dead trilogy

Creepshow

Big

The Thing

Beverly Hills cop

12 monkeys

Scent of a woman

The Goonies

All the best

The most Beautiful is arguably 'It's a Wonderful Life'. Most of the older members here will agree with me i'm sure. They really don't make movies like they used to, it's a wonderful tale of a man who had everything and lost it all, so an angel is send down to him to show him what the world would have been like if he never existed, and all the lives that he had touched in ways he couldn't have imagined.

Brings a tear to my eye.

My favourite, currently, is Shaun of the Dead.
Talk about 2 movies that couldn't be more different, laugh.gif

Shaun Of The Dead.... I loved that movie, I just rented it and laughed so hard... great movie
Bizeebutt
The most beautiful movie I've ever seen was Waking Life... I loved the animation, and after you watch the "behind the scenes" and realize what an amazing amount of effort and artistic tallent went into making it, you realize it truly is a moving piece of art work.

I think one of my favorite movies would have to be Big Fish. It tells a really awesome and heartfelt story that made me cry all three times I saw it... quite an accomplishment. grin2.gif
ajagsfairy

You know a sad thing? Here in Chile Shaun of the Dead wasn't released in cinemas. The only copy I found at Blockbuster was a crappy VHS tape and with the title of "Dawn of the Dead, the Comedy". Makes me wanna cry crying.gif, they don't know what they're missing. crying.gif

In no particular order:

Troy- go ahead and slate me! Hector's death brought a tear to my eye

Die hard- For when you fancy a bit of mindless violence that's not really all that mindless huh.gif

Batman- The original and still the best in my opinion, Nicholson played a blinder

Pulp Fiction- No reasons need here, seriously does anyone not love this film?

Layercake- A twisty turny tale of drug dealers in London and a truly great British film (a rare breed nowdays)
