I just had this question that bothered me for quie awhile.

How does superman fly?

The x-ray vision, I know, he was born on another planet.But the flight just confuses me.

And if anyone has a question about superheros in general, post it here.

How can batman jump off a building and survive ?!?!

that's the point...use your imgination. for example, when you go to a movie and you see something that you think is fake you go, "oh, that's so fake." well duh, it's a movie let your imagination go. or do you not like to think???

Spiderman is the coolest superhero.

IIRC, he originally couldn't fly; he could just jump very far(i.e. able the leap tall buildings in a single bound...), which was explained that because he was from a different planet he was stronger(different gravity perhaps? like when we went to the moon and hopped about?).

On the 1950's B&W tv show he could all of a sudden keep sustained flight. In the later movies, he could even hover and travel fast enough to get the earth to start spinning backwards...which reversed time for some reason...

I don't understand it, but I always thought Superman was very cool. I miss Christopher Reeve

This is a easy question they can do all Superman can fly because....he's Superman. He's fake and he can just do things like that.

Who is better...Superman or Batman? If I had a choice, I'd rather be Batman. The idea if being rich with cool stuff is much more appealing than flying....plus the colors are better.

I'd rather wear tight rubber than tight spandex, plus the criminals might actually make me use my head, not my biceps.. Id go with batman.

i like batman. plus superman has never really beaten batman yet. batman is also versatile.

i'll give you a situation of what both heros would do:

there is a bad guy that killed a very good ally of superman. superman catches up with the suspect and interrogates him superman will be nice and patient looking for discrepancies in the villians stories.

batman will catch up to the villian and interrogate him too. if the bad guy doesn't cooperate, batman will break the desk and then the villians bones.
