I found healing with my panic attacks with a spiritual healer. Are there any others out there? If so, how can i contact them? I saw something on Unexplainable Mysteries but have not been able to locate any of the healers.
zudo
what are you talking about?
SHiksa
I saw an episode on unexplainable mysteries where psychic/spiritual healers were able to take people out of comas, reduce tumors, get rid of sicknesses, etc. I'm looking for such a person. I know of one in New York whom I've went to and he's been helpful. Unfortunately he cannot help all sicknesses. I'd like to find Dean Kraft, Henry Rucker and other well known psychic healers. I'd like to hear from those who possibly saw a psychic healer and their experiences.
zudo
scour the net for reiki in newyork, also, you may wanna find a reiki master/teaher, and learn
SHiksa
I cant find this reiki person. I've looked everywhere
Saru
Hi there,

Although this isn't actually the official web site of the "Unexplained Mysteries" TV show, we have set up a thread relating to the episode of the show featuring Psychic Healers.

The thread, which contains some information about the episode and the healers can be found Here.

Unfortunately the exact contact details for those healers doesn't seem to be available, and nobody has yet been able to find a way to directly contact them.
SHiksa
www.reiki.net is an informational site. They list a few people who have the ability, but none are from the episode I saw.

I know there are many skeptics - I was one too. Isn't $100 worth a try? When I went to the man who cured me of my panic attacks, I thought he was a regular hypnotist. I was surprised when he never put me under any "spell" and I was conscience the entire time. When I left, I remembered uttering to my husband, "this guy's a scam - he must be real rich do jack sh*+". But when my problem never returned, I thought about changes in my diet and other things that I may have made - I was still really skeptical. A month later, a friend who also suffered with panic attacks saw the man too and was also panic attack free after one session! My husband has since went to the man for grinding his teeth at night - it worked. My mother with rheumatoid arthritis has told me her pain has been less intense since her session. Another friend has quit smoking too after one session.

What does this guy have? All he did was waive his hands over me. I'm really fascinated with this whole subject matter. I think many people can benefit from this sort of "therapy". I'm just left wondering why it's so tough to get a hold of them.

Hey, I want to have my anxiety disorder cured. Did you notice any side effects or feeling different in anyway since you've been healed? Have you ever heard of a medical device called a scenar? I wen't to an alternative therapist and he used this device on me. It did not work untill I wen't home and started meditateing. Strangely that reduced the anxiety more than anything I've tried before. (IT also caused some poltergeist activity for a short period of time.) I think the anxiety disorder has something to do with chi. The scenar works in a way similar to acupuncture.

Hey rainbow Serpent,

I didn't have any side effects. I felt completely normal - as if I never had it. I didn't do anything following my session - that's why I am so amazed. After my session with him, I decided to get off Zoloft, which btw, I was so scared. Being the skeptic that I am, I'm really grateful for the man I visited, who opened my mind to an alternative therapeutic approach. The only negative with him - he's Russian and speaks little English. But even with poor communication, he was able to pinpoint areas on my body that hurt.

Does anyone here know of a reiki master/teacher in chapaign? I'll do another goole... btw, as anyone hear learned reiki? ho long did it take? to be able to do anything? and what did you do?
SHiksa
Zudo,
Where's chapaign? Go to reiki.net, I saw some international reiki masters. I also looked in the local phone book for "reiki" and was given a few names. Some people advertise nationwide in the yellow pages.

Where are you located?
SHiksa
I'm located in the New York City area. The guy who helped me is located in Brooklyn New York
SHiksa
Ok this is super weird. My aunt in Delaware contacted the psychic healer in Brooklyn I went to, and he gave her therapy (reiki) over the phone. She said that she no longer has a desire to smoke (she usually smokes 2-3 packs a day). How on earth is this guy able to do it over the phone?!? This seems magical. I'm clueless...

He charged me $100 the first time, then $80 for my second time. Wasnt a bad price.

my mistake there.
HowdyDoo
I just don't know--people who charge for healings sort of scare me.

I know of several religious-minded healers that don't take money. They do it as part of God's service to his people. Unfortunately, the one healer, a priest, passed away several years ago. I've forgotten the other guys name...sorry!

I did go to a nun who was giving the "healing touch" thing...and she did charge $30.00 for each session, but the money was turned over to her order. Except for feeling more relaxed, they did nothing for my chronic pain.

I hope you find someone who isn't a nutjob or quack. Good luck!
SHiksa
This man is Jewish - so we share the same faith. But his healings were unrelated to any Judaism. He does make me feel very relaxed too, just like your nun did.

But he did cure pain. I was really skeptical. I went to him thinking he was a hypnotist. But like I said, he did no hypnosis. Thats when I thought he was really a quack. Although, as he was waiving his arms around me, I did feel a lifting energy of some sort. My panic attacks just simply never returned, and only after my session did I look into what he did - and learned about reiki. After my therapy, I felt relaxed, but normal. I did think my panic attacks would return but thank g-d I've been okay (except if I drink alcohol - I will occasionally get panic attacks).
I feel I'm about 95% better. I had 2 sessions in total - last one being this past September '04

I'm a true believer of the power, but I do feel there are many people who claim to have the ability, and will take a run for your money. I would like to find another person with a good reputation that can perhaps speak better English. When I was waiting for my therapy, he was giving therapy to a woman who couldnt stop bleeding on her arm. Somehow he was able to make her stop bleeding at the end of therapy. But how???
iquest
The episode you saw is 10 years old. That is why you will have difficulty finding them. It is a remake of the old Sightings program...........how do I know that you ask.........I was one of the people shown on the program.

Insight
A fascinating thread. These people seem to be getting very real results, so there is obviously some sort of force at work. What the force is however, I cannot put my finger on. It seems mysterious indeed. What makes these people have the ability to preform these acts? What makes them be able to cure an addiction simply my an exchange of words. Is there something deeper going on?

What can you guys tell me about this reiki healing, or whatever is it?
MentalMethane0110
In this particular forum, I keep reading the same word over and over: "How?". I havent been a member of this particular site long, but some time ago i heard a phrase that would make sense on this subject. " We all have the ability to use our unlocked sections of the mind to heal and other sorts of psycho-phenomena yet to be proven." I think that all of these people that all of you have talked about have been able to learn different forms of " Lowered Consciousness" to focus on what the problem was, such as anxiety, and used a form of metaphysics, to correct the problem. Like the Jewish man, who had a hard time articulating. He probably had years of training on this "Reiki" practice. I would like to learn more about this.

Healers have secrets that cannot be revealed.
It is not written on any kind of books.
Richdog
lol schipherel, good attempt at being mystrerious. laugh.gif

Anyway, Reike is simply chanelling Chi, much the same as in the Chinese Internal Martial Arts such as Tai-Chi/Qi Gong (at high levels). It differs from spiritual healing in that Reike practitioners have a constant connection to the healing energy (through your body), ehereas Spiritual healers (my auntie and uncle are such people) must work a lot harder to receive the healing energy from a higher (spiritual) source.

I do not believe it will work over the phone, no matter what you tell me. Any benefits form that will be 99.99% psychological in my eyes. hmm.gif

Sorry Richdog, but i have to disagree with you.
There are many types of Healers.
How about if i request God to heal a certain person that i've never met or seen?
Is that possible?
How about if i send my Angel to you and whisper to your ear
"scip is right ! " Is that possible too? laugh.gif
Richdog
Nope, i'm afraid it isn't.

I regret to hear of the panic attacks, but can say without reservation that with regard to panic attacks and other fears, all except The Spiritual Healer, Yeshuah HaMashiach, or Christ Jesus, are bogus. Yeshuah is not a TV program, is not a "method," and does not charge money for His healing. He simply IS the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I suffered from terrible, clinical depression and panic attacks for over 30 years. I spent decades seeing various therapists, including one therapist whom I saw for 7 years, and with whom I made excellent progress. But after finishing with her,(she retired, I did not leave.), I still was having to take antidepressants, and I still suffered from anxiety. The therapist said I would always suffer from depression and anxiety and would always have to be on some form of medication.

She was wrong. When I came to comprehend John 3:16 enough,(it cannot ever be fully comprehended by someone still living on this present earth), the depression and anxiety ebbed and disappeared, never to return. That was 8 years ago.

I am not saying that no one who believes sincerely in Yeshuah will ever suffer from depression or from anxiety. The brain is a part of the body just as the leg, the arm or the stomach, (even though the brain is indispensible compared to those other parts), and so it can suffer injury and "brokenness" just as a person can injure or break a leg or an arm, or suffer a stomach ache or indigestion. So it is possible to be a follower of Yeshuah and to suffer depression/anxiety and other dis-eases of the brain.

But if a person suffers from depression/anxiety/panic attacks and has not sought after Yeshuah, has not read the Book of John, has not asked for Yeshuah's forgiveness and healing, then that person has not yet tried the Truest Healing there is.

I myself am not and have never met a psychic healer that i know of. I had a bad experience with panic attacks five years ago and if i knew that a psychic healer could have helped me i would have gone to see one for sure.

I would be driving and suddenly loose my breath and would have the feeling of someone pulling all my hair back on the back of my head. I almost caused a few car accident's because of it, so i wouldn't drive unless i had to.
I had one experience where i was afraid i was going to die, i was petrified and i couldn't stop gasping for air, i begged my boyfriend at the time to knock me out.

Another experience was in the shower, i was afraid to have one in the shower so i asked my boyfriend to sit in there with me while i washed my hair and i was fine until he went to get the phone. I thought i would be alright until i went blind and lost my breath again, i sat down and prayed for it to go away, i felt as if my skull was being compressed, then the thought of aliens popped into my head, nasty ones, not nice ones, and i flipped out. I kept trying to breathe and suddenly this tingle feeling washed over my entire body and a voice or something in my head repeated over and over "aliens are angels" over and over, then i calmed down by crying. Crying seems to be the only way to stop it.
I had quite a few more after that, i don't know why i had them or where they came from, but i finally decided that i couldn't live that way forever.

I made them stop on my own by telling myself that i didn't have time for it and i ignored it when i felt one comming on. I just made myself believe that it wasn't real and finally one day they went away. I haven't had one in over four years. I made myself stronger.
