I'd rather stay put in Britain myself grin2.gif the currency is stronger, the people are nicer, the food is great original.gif BUT the weather sucks disgust.gif Where would you want to live?
JennRose
I've never been to any part of the UK so can't make a decision as to living there, but I've always wanted to at least visit. But the general concensus I've heard on food (and this is from Brits themselves) is that it's not very good. Truth in these rumors? Black pudding and blood sausages sound kinda scary...
joc
I would love to visit Britain. original.gif

But I would never want to live anywhere but America.
Athenian
America as in the New World? Or America as in the Continental United States...?

Oh, but the British guys have the great accents! And our social lives are NOT what is portrayed on TV. laugh.gif
BurnSide
hahah most brits would say America.
I remember when i lived in England, America was like this dream place far away that everyone wanted to go to. original.gif With CRAZY accents!!

I have never been to America other than a quick drive around the state of New York and while i have to say America is definately got beautiful landscapes and such, being a Brit myself my heart would chose that.
Michelle
I've been a lot of places in this lil ol world of ours, and I always look forward to coming home to the US. thumbsup.gif

Home is where the heart is.

Hmmm the food where I live is quite good tongue.gif BUT then again it's not English food I eat although BRITAINS favourite dish now is the CURRY which my family specialises in grin2.gif So I'm sorted... Talking about black puddings I'm not familiar with them BUT I hear "Spotted Dicks" are tasty... unsure.gif

What's that old saying Krow, Spooks,

"Everyone has a there, that they prefer more than their here. But when they go there, that will become a here and there will be another there they will prefer more than here."

Something like that.
Generally, the grass is greener on the otherside.
But trust me, you don't know what you got until it's gone. I found that out the hard way.
spooks
awww burnside, i'm just kidding i love the english boys but any american chicks who want one, feel free wink2.gif

the only place in the US or the UK I would EVER want to live is Liverpool. It's where I grew up..and It's where I call home....plus the Beatles are my favourite band tongue.gif

Although, having said that I believe in my past life I was Native American.....and so for the first time in my life I actually felt very comfortable when I went to visit Nevada and the surrounding areas. I'm not quite sure but I think if it were the same as it was I'd feel comfortable there.

The rumours about black pudding and things are totally fake! Yes, That is british food. But it's NORTHERN british food. Up where I live...in yorkshire! The Yawwkshiyre daayuls [/talks in northen accent]

I don't like traditional British food....as in I don't like the taste. The food is often good. Theres so many places in America where I could say the food was bad. There are plenty of good restaurants and cafe's. And the supermarket food is good if you're not buying burgers and chips rolleyes.gif

Fish and chips is VERY popular....as well as curry, kebabs and chinese takeaways. But then that's quick food...or food when you have no money...you don't expect it to be good...you just expect it to be edible...most of the time. laugh.gif

My favourite foods sushi..so I often find out sushi bars in city's. Manchesters 'yo' in Selfridges mall is very good!

Personally I don't really care about my boy having an american accent.... some american accents tend to really annoy me...and some can be quite nice. For example a MILD californian accent. A strong one annoys me. It's the same with English....I love the OLD scouse (liverpool) accent...like the one I've got but the new high pitched squeeky one annoys me. Sounds like a broken machine on speed. mellow.gif Guys with a northen accent I just want to kill laugh.gif Hense why I don't have a boyfriend here.

Any guy's who want a lovely liverpool english chick call me wink2.gif
spooks
lol jenn, most of mine would pass out at the chance of dating an older american woman

There's so many different kinds that I'm sure most everyone can find something they like, provided you like seafood. If you hate seafood, well...not much to do about that.

It's one of the few foods that I honestly just CRAVE. If I know I am getting it that day, I will just around at work and day dream. Mmmmm... grin2.gif

laugh.gif Oh hell that's so true. Personally I don't like strong accents. Especially southern accents. However try the liverpool accent. Not the nice beatly one...the new one. The high pitched squeeky one tongue.gif It takes them half a SECOND to say a sentence! laugh.gif
