I was watching a show the other day on haunted locations found in Ireland and Scotland and I heard a term I've never heard of before. Apprently this one castle called Leap in Ireland has a pretty bad reputation and has a ghost that is called an elemental. Elementals are spirits that are created in areas of extreme evil. This spirits are usually associated with a sickly sweet smell( that of rotting corpses) and are short with fur and a decomposing human face. Leap had a history of evil, the castle was home to fuding princes who were fighting over the land and the people. Apparently one of the princes was a monk and was killed in the chapel by his brother. The princes would also take slaves which were captured in battle and throw them into a pit, if they were not killed by the spikes they would die of starvation. In the 19th century when they went back into the castle after it was burnt down, they took three cart fulls of bones out of the dungen.
I'm pretty fascinated about the elementals cause I have enever heard of them before, just wondering if anyone here has heard of them and can provide a little more info on them.

I've seen a story about that on tv once. If i'm not mistaken, there's a chapel of bones or was it a pit of bones there. and an occasional haunting of this undescrible looking creature that would approach a visitor or two and with it a very foul rotting flesh smell, right?

This entity would have to be a lower elemental. From what I gathered it isn't human, it's more like a creature that lurks in the shadows. It's probably a creation of drak energies and evil thoughts and probably continues to live off the negative energy found in that area. I do know remember another show talking about an entity that was similar, had a foul stench and was someplace in the Uk, maybe it was the same castle. I'm just surprised with all the evil that has taken place in the world, that I haven't heard of anymore cases like this, thankfully I haven't encountered one yet, and I hope not to.

Hey Raven & others,
My defenition of Elementals is divided into two groups:
#1) Higher Elementals
From my own knowhow and researched, they are divided into two groups:
a) the animal elementals like Unicorns, and other unseen animals who possessed supernatural powers of invincibility and magick.
the Humanoid elementals like fairies, elves, mermaids/Merman, devas, sirens, ... they were said to be the 1st creation by the Supreme Divine...so that they will take care of the Earth's nature and elements: Air, Fire, Metal, Wood and Water.
They were also said to be in-level with Lilith.
#2) the Lower Elements
these are earth bound spirits who have failed tp go beyond the Light tunnel, and beings who have chosen to be in Earth as puppets of the Dark forces.
they are also the beings that deceit us, and can appear us human beings, angels and spiritual beings etc. etc.
All of the above are my personal experienced ever since when I was 3years old.
I have communicated a few of them, and I am amazed at their powers.
Although, I'm now workng, I do not try to make money, or show my ESP to other people.
I would rather be normal and live a happy life like normal people.
...thats why, I have avoided going to disco and red light districts...becoz I have seen between my eyes, what these lower elements do to us.
I would rather focus on researching and sharing what I know...like sharing this to you people.
I am not from a 1st world country. but lived in a country who some say used to be "Mu" or part of Lemuria.
thats why the Philippines is always mystical and many mysteries abound.

I presumed there are hundreds type of Elementals.
And i also think they never use logic or reasoning or mercy.
Once you distract them, you pay. Not unless you are more higher than them.

Hi, this is my first post on this board - massive, isn't it? The board, I mean
I've had a lot of OOBE's in my life, and I once saw some 'lower elementals' attached to a sleeping woman in a backpackers, years ago. They looked like long grey sleeping bags and seemed to be sucking her energy. When my body woke, I could hear her moaning and telling them to get off her.
I once had a wise man tell me that beings of this sort can't even perceive you unless your energy is in some way in tune with thiers. She was a heroin addict and was also on psych meds of some kind (poor woman!).
There were some other beings in the room as well, but I couldn't see those - seemed more mischievous than anything.
A lot of people are starting to call any old dark/icky ghost an elemental, but I bet they're not.
True elementals don't haunt people - they don't generally like being around the energy of people at all. Maybe if humans encroach on thier space, they might get a bit upset. There are some places on this earth that people should just leave alone, perhaps?
Maybe some of these 'elementals' are actually the remnant energies of really malevolent people, rather than true inorganic life forms.

Hi all
faeries are strongly associated with the paranormal they are the workers of nature they are responsible for the life allowing elements of earth, air, fire, and water that makes up nature they are mother natures little helpers.
They are elemental spirits (not to be mistaken with the lower level negative thought forms such as psychic vampires and incubus or succubus)
Do faeries exist? well without them me or you would not exist, to me to dismiss the existence of the fae is to dismiss the existence of nature and life.
Unfortunately many paranormal investigators have confused the nature elemental with the thought form of elemental (demonic thoughts) that exist as man made negative entities from negative thoughts from humans through out the world, these negitive energies are also called (Astral Larvae), but they are not to be confused with the nature giving faes and deva's that travel the ley lines all around our planet.
The two versions of the elemental both exist but both are not the same. for some reason, the lower spirit form type that many paranormal investigators would talk about that lives in the lower realms have been confused with the nature based fae.
Astral larvae are what I would see as demons and creatures such as the psychic vampire and incubus/succabus ect they are the negative thoughts and emotions such as hate, anger, lust, and jealously that man has created, these entities have been labelled the same as nature spirits, which in my opinion is just not true.
I find it difficult to call these types of demonic beings elementals because the modern investigators have named them that because many of these entities are summoned by negative magical rituals which resulted in demonic thought forms known as astral larvae and have been wrongly associated with nature spirits 'real elementals' as evil which they are not. Dark and evil rituals can and do cause the demonic type of energy that can haunt a location but they are the result of the negitive energys raised in the rituals and nothing to do with nature spirits or faeries.
Elemental spirits are nature spirits (faeries) the spirits that represent the elements of earth, air, fire, and water for instance the salamander spirit is an elemental of fire and the selkie or mermaid is water ect. These spirits are not lower entities or evil BUT can be dangerous if an inexperienced person dabbles with them or they are disrespected .
Witches when performing magic(k) will always cast a protective circle around them when calling the quarters and invoking the elements, this kind of thing may be why witches are accused of worshipping demons because of the lower spirit form (demonic thought forms) having the same name as the elemental nature spirit.
Other names for the nature spirit elemental are faerys, faes, salamanders, pixies, elves, hob goblins, sylphs, pans, boggarts, ect you may have heard of the faerie god mother she is in many pagan beliefs is the queen of nature, the goddess and mother nature. and the green man her consort is the god of nature both are of all the female and male elements together as one they make up life there fore are the divine creators of life.
The elemental lower spirit form or thought has nothing to do with the elemental nature spirit how the lower spirit got labelled with the same name I would guess its down to a misunderstanding about what nature spirits are.
As to what causes the lower realm elemental I would say they are the thoughts of man that thinks in a suppressive and negative way they are mans personal demons that they have created with in there own minds and thoughts from which they will have to wrestle with when there time comes, the more hate and more anger we have through out our physical life the stronger our demons ( Astral Larvae) will become.
The belief in nature spirits and faeries goes back as far back as man started believing in life after death and of the gods.
Nature spirits are essentially a pagan belief they are the helpers of the queen of the fae's (faeries) the moon goddess also known as the faerie god mother or mother nature. Mother nature scatters nature spirits all over the earth and all have a purpose they are mother natures little helpers. Many different cultures have different names for them the Celts called them fae's or The Sidhe because pagans believe in the four elements of nature of earth air fire and water all fae's all have a purpose, some are water fae's some earth and some fire ect.
Because of the connection with the triple goddess they are more likely to be seen on a full moon or in the moon light they are very magical creatures and where and still are summoned in witchcraft, the elementals of earth air fire and water are always summoned when casting a magic(k) circle its called calling the quarters.
The ancient Greek figure Pan was said to be a fae that had god like powers (some pagans believe he is a god) he learnt how to enchant women in the forest with his pan pipes its where the beliefs comes from about faery enchantment. Pan is looked upon as dangerous character the words PANic and PANdemonium where based on his legends.
The Christians had and still do have a belief that faeries where cast out of heaven but they where not evil enough to be sent to hell so they got stuck in-between heaven and hell and where banished to the earth for all eternity.
Although faeries are a ancient belief many people still believe in them today mostly in Europe and America, there are faerie tales in the far east too Hinduism and Buddhism have versions of the nature spirit.
Many people laugh when it comes to talking about faeries but from what I have learned its nothing to laugh about they are a very important spiritual group of entities. Excepting gifts from faeries is probably not a good idea as most will want something in return but giving them gifts is a good thing if you know where faeries dwell, on a full moon leave a moonstone for them under a toadstool by a river and good luck and fortune will soon come your way, also planting trees and plants also pleases the fae folk.
In parts of Ireland and Sweden and Scandinavia and maybe even Scotland its believed that building houses on faerie land is a huge mistake, there are houses in Ireland that where built on faerie dwellings even after people warned against it and the houses now have all sorts of nasty and negative entities in them, the people that live in them are plagued with bad luck nightmares and terminal illness, the way I look at faeries are they are the driving force of nature and when you look at nature as I already mentioned it can be beautiful, tranquil, peaceful and kind on the other hand it can be harsh, unforgiving, dangerous and frightening many environmentalists today are pagan and believe in faerie folk and they say that man is abusing the forces of nature so bad that one day soon mother nature and her fae folk is going to fight back and when she does we dont stand a chance I dont know about you but I find that quite a frightening thing. We need to start respecting our planet.
The difference between faeries and angels?
The different between Angels and faeries is that angels are enlightened souls who have achieved unconditional love and have been reincarnated unto the earth many times and have learned all the lessons that they needed to be given the status of angel...... They are also messengers to the living, guardians, and helpers they are souls that are of the light, the hands and thoughts of the divine universal consciousness we all call god/goddess they live on the highest reams of spirit...... Angels are beings at one with the universe that do not judge in any way shape or form, they live and work for the highest and most glorious realms of spirit.
Faeries on the other hand are not the souls of the once living person they are natures helpers sent by (if you believe in the pagan idea) the mother goddess of the earth and the moon, mother natures little helpers.... faeries all have certain jobs and tasks to perform, some to brown the leaves, some to spread the morning dew, some to green the grass, some weave the roots of the trees and plants ect ect.....
They are responsible for nature to do its workings, they are the elements of nature, the weavers of nature, the astral children of the god and goddess of the universal nature....... Faeries are not enlightened spirits and nor do they have to be they have a job to do and they will do it, and a good job they do too, but its not all work and no play, faeries are known to love to dance and play..... One of the most common past times of the fae is to play tricks and jokes on humans that wonder to deep into nature, like children they seem to enjoy messing about, some are friendly helpful and pleasant, and some are tricksters, mistevous, and in some cases dangerous. Look at nature its self it can be beautiful, pleasant and kind, it can also be dangerous harsh and unforgiving, the fae folk are no different as they represent the elements of nature there individual nature is a mirror image of the part they play in nature.
There are other beliefs that are based on fear and ignorance that many in the modern religions believe which sprouted from the modern religions attempt to slander and demonized the old beliefs in nature spirits and the nature gods and goddesses..... Faeries became the Christian fallen angels, this is a strange belief to pagans as the faeries where on the earth long before man was on earth, long before modern religion and its idea of fallen angels ever came about, but that’s how Christianity used nature spirits to help demonize the pagan religions as evil and demonic...... Its also why many Christians and Catholics will refer to "earthly sins" and believe that the earth is ruled by "Satan" "the beast" and that the humans natural way was sinful and animalistic so to act natural as nature does was to act as the beast and there for was against god, this is also why many people in the more modern religions believe that animals do not have souls, something that most people who have had an animal as a pet will know is completely untrue.......
All the best
Faeden
