We have quite a few folks that have claimed to be abducted here on the forum, so that should work out well for the radio station...I wonder if any of them are going to be willing to be interviewed or not?

I could talk about my dads experiences which hes told me about, hes reluctant to speak about them but the events took place around his home town Barrhead, alberta, canada around the 1960s. these events occured over a period of 2 months and 50-70% of the population had experienced close encounters of all kinds, not just abduction but UFO sightings and Visual encounters with unknown entities (classic alien descriptions). anyway he claims to have been abducted, I heard this from my mom, not from him.
Im just going to ramble about the stories he told me now, so if you dont care then save yourself the reading.
ok so the first sightings were just strange objects in the sky, then one day they were having a school dance in the gym when the power suddenly went off, everyone was confused about what was happening when someone yelled "omg, look outisde" at that time everyone rushed outside to see, not more than 2 kms away, a bright pulsating light hovering silently above the power plant (or generator or whatever was supplying the school with power). This light seemed to be drawing the power from the plant, it hovered for roughly 10 mins before dissapearing into nothing and then the power came back on.
now people in the town were frightened, they didnt know what was happening I remember my dad saying something about them writing a letter to the federal gov't and contacting local authoraties without any succes to attracting attention until one day these strange men started to show up in town.
Now I must clarify that this was a small town, more like a hamlet or village, so small everyone knew everyone else so strangers were easy to notice unless you were one yourself. These men travelled in twos and wore black suits with cases and usually wore sunglasses...now if I saw this and knowing what I know today, I would be freaked out, actually when he did tell me this I was freaked out because Ive heard stories of these "men in black" before. he also spoke of men in brown suits who openly discussed this with the public and claimed to be investigating these types of occurences under the project entitled "blue book" this too Ive heard of, as well have you?

lol. I can't help but think that you just told me off.

This story is very interesting to say the least, because i have found something about it , which dates back to the same time as that, and was in the same part of alberta.
Barrhead, Alberta
Date: 1960 (Summer)
Time: 11:00 p.m.
The same lady who reported the sighting above told me of another report. There was a dance which took place at the Barrhead town hall one evening. Many folks were in attendance. All of a sudden the lights burned out and everyone stood watching five objects hovering over a power sub station. She also said that many pictures were taken of the objects sitting in the sky, and most likely some of the photos could be found if someone was to go looking, or asking area residents who lived there at the time

That true; a lot of people do fake their abductions. However, I would't get on a
radio show just to be asked about my experiences with ufos.
People like me, don't call it abductions, because I understand the nature and intent of the beings that take
you away. Im also studying about time distortions. Abductees report a lost sense
of time, as if it was non-existant. I believe that these ufos are outside of time.
