just a poll for you guys....

you cant really count anything on that list except for Fable and Halo 2 because they are out on other systems. infact i didnt even know that the Suffering was out on Xbox, i thought that was a PS2 only game. although i dont particularly like Xbox, one game thats not on this list was very good, Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butchers Bay.

GTA SA is going to be on Xbox soon, does that mean it can't be counted in PS2 game of the year calculations?

Halo 2 wins, hands down for me..... And the suffering is out on Xbox yes....

well yes Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butchers Bay does look good, but i've never played it...

plus not many game nowadays are one console exclusive....

mr. halo, you should really play the CoR game. its awsome and the graphics are some of the best ive seen. they come close to the RE games on the GC.

but if i had to pick a game on there, it would be Halo 2....because thats the only one ive played

Well a little of topic, and not a game from 2004, and not orignally on the console. I vote for elder scolls:morrowind, it's one of most free form games, i like that better then everwind or whatever it's called. Can't wait for oblivion:D:D:D:D:D:D

fable is certainly very good if you like that type of game. i must admit sometimes i go back and play it more and more....... But it still doesnt have the excitement that a game of the year should have...In my opinion....

Which is why I prefer Halo2....

Sub, Legendary is still kicking my ass. It's a lot of fun if you mess around with a few of the skulls, although I'm still worried that I'll never get past Legendary without calling in my brother for some co-op backup.
