hmm...the shape its turning into looks almost too human-like. i wouldnt have any other non-paranormal explanation other than the photo was doctored, but u said it wasnt, so i dont know what to tell you other than it could be real.

Anyone smoke in the family?? Candles lit in the room? Hair hanging in your face?

Definately looks like smoke to me. You can see whisps of it all throughout the picture.

I advise that you look through the photo albums. They're some very similar images, includeing one of a black smoke creature diveing in front of a web cam.

Nope no one smoked. It wasnt made with a computer,cause they dont have a computer and i have no idea how to start to use photo shop or anything like that. if you look close it looks like its holding a lantern.
As for someone dying there...It was a OLD house so im sure someone died there at one time.

Anybody who thinks that picture is real... must be crazy. That is the most fake-looking picture of a ghosts I have ever seen in my life.

I see four ppl here.. the photographer , the developer , the camera manufacturer , and the cat(can be ppl) . The principle of parsimony tell us its the cameras fault..reflected light from the camera’s flash which overexposes part of the film and causing a glare spot or the image looks like a bright unxplained form on the film, or a white patch..I have seen this kind of pictures before and we laughed bec some of them look like deer, ppl, or even monsters

That looks to clear and theres too much white and it says may one the address so why are you telling us now hmm out with it its and obvious fake and I doubt an old lady would just get up and say hmm im gonna go take a picture of the cat before i or it dies

As I have said before I have to my knowledge never seen a ghost. But members of my family have and I believe them because of other thing that happened at the same time.
Any way each sighting,as told to me, is that the person they saw was solid. Like they were really there. Of coarse there are no pictures, most sightings were at night on potty breaks so no camera. They see ghosts, thats weird enough.
Any way if ghosts appear as solid to people, why would their pictures not be solid as well? Some of the most believable ghost pictures I have seen have very distinctive figures and faces.

You miss understand me Void83, I agree the photo shown is not even done Well. I still think that translucent or solid pictures of people who should not be there is better proof than a streak of light, moving shadow, or phot Orbs.

Hmmm, I don't know what to think of it. I've never seen a picture of a ghost, well, that was proven to be real, since none can be. I don't think it looks that faked, and if it is real, it's an awesome pic!

As to the original picture, I honestly don't know, may be real, may be fake. We may never know.

It looks fake and if it was faked then the photo butcher had a sense of humor since it looks like your apperation is leaning over and that 5th appendage is actually a fart. Although that could be my toilet humorised sense of humor playing tricks with my fragile sleep deprivated sawdust.

Another possibility is that it's the cat having an OBE explaining the 5th digit. *shrugs* Thats not really my line of belife but a possibility none the less.

I believe that picture to be true.
After working with the Spirit World for many Years I have seen Spirits appear in all sorts of ways including that one.
sometimes they also appear to me in clear human form but I don't have pictures to back it up like you do but from my experience don't let anyone discourage you personally from believing that picture is real.
I'm sure you will keep searching for all the answers you want to from the Spirit World and don't be surprised in the future if your relatives and other Guides in the Spirit World appear to you more, now that they know how interested you are in proving these things to others.

Whew, yes, thank you! Very good point JonB. Not being specific, but in general. We will never get to the break through stage, nor will we ever scratch the surface if we can't even get to real experiences.



It does look like smoke. Even though the ecto looks as if it is sitting on the couch, by using the shoes as a refference point, the "apparition" is actually 1-2 ft in front of the couch. i doubt it was a camera malfunction, but in my opinion, it's just smoke.

Have just saved image and zoomed in on it and it looks like the cat is looking right at whatever happens to be there, which is odd. There have been sugestions (not sure if that's the right word) that cats and dogs can see things that we can not. So, it is entirely possible that there is something there, no idea what it migh be tho.

Could it be simply be, that the cat is looking at the smoke? Cat's and Dog's don't like smoke, at least most of them.
