Hey, I have Windows Media Player 10 and I can't find the codec that lets me play RealOne Player songs.

Well, I basically was doing, I was streaming songs from the internet. I don't like to download...not allowed to wacko.gif . But that file, I can only stream it through RealOne Player. Do you know how/where I can install a codec that lets me stream that song onto Windows Media Player 10 blink.gif ?

But you still need to use the media player that comes with it you may as well just get RealPlayer.

Thanks Bleeding Heart grin2.gif . But thats not what i've been looking for sad.gif .

I'm looking for a codec that will let me play RealOne songs onto Windows Media Player 10, so its basically a Windows Media Player 10 Codec, or plug-in.

The same thing used to work for WMP 9 dont know about 10 (WMP really doesnt like Real), but I had the same problem and there is nothing else out there yet. Media Players like the WMPC (included with that download) and VLC Media Player, ACE will play every single media file out there, using less resources and including more features than WMP 10.

If your determined to stay with WMP10 as your only media player then you may want to convert the realmedia songs to MP3 http://www.snapfiles.com/get/rmtomp3.html and similar tools are available.

Thats what i'm looking for, thank you so much bleeding heart original.gif .

hehe...but I have one more question.

When I play realone player, I stream a music video right? Well, the video would...like pause every 2 seconds. Shows frame after frame after frame instead of a flow of frames. The Audio is just fine, its the video.

Is there a codec I can use to heal this problem?

You don't need to play the files in MPC, you can play them in WMP after you install the programs.
