I'm up to Stage 1 Part 8. It's a bit too mathematical for me at the moment though.

Since you mean Stage 1 part 3, here's a little hint:

It's Important you read the entire question. The answer is actually given to you. Also, what do large companies do? And a type of insect is also in there somewhere. Hope that helps.

Just to let you know I've moved all the posts relating to this particular riddle site into a new thread to seperate them out from the other riddle thread.

I've managed to struggle my way up to stage 1 part 4, but that's as far as I've been able to get so far.

I'll keep at it though, and see if I can get any further.

I've now managed to get to stage 1 part 13, surprisingly the questions tend to be getting a bit easier, although that's perhaps only because I'm getting used to the sort of questions they're asking.

That being said though, there are still some pretty awful questions in there - the worst ones are the simple ones, where the answer is right there in front of you but you can't see it at all. More often than not it pays to take what they're asking as literally as you possibly can.

Here's a little hint :

Don't be put off by the pictures - quite literally do what the question is asking you to do, bearing in mind the way in which the last few answers have been entered.

Got as far as 1:8 yesterday, this is a really great riddle!!

I am stuck on stage 1 part 2. Apparently thinking mathmatically isn't my strong point.

Their online poll suggests that 1.3 and 1.8 are overwhelmingly the most difficult of the riddles present.

He has an auction up for sponsors to his riddles and there are as of yet no bids. A quick buy and a selection of either of those two above would be a good way to force people to look at your ad for a few minutes a day.

Which brings me to my final thought, that there may never be a prize awarded. It is pretty easy to just say "no" to whatever anyone submits as the answer to the final riddle and pocket the money yourself. I hope whomever it is that runs Net Riddle is more honest than that.

There's no way I would be in it for the money, since almost ALL
of the answers I've gotten from others, but I really, really hope
that the people who are running this thing don't pull a mean trick
like that.

Don't worry I think a lot of people have been stuck at number 4, including myself. Your quite close actually, it's that sort of idea.

It's (the time of day when it's dark) + (a female horse)

That should help get you past that question.

Oops I've made a mistake in the last post, it should be U-571 not U-51.

Apart from that I can't work out whats wrong with it, but the total should be 24789.

I've checked my answers out and your seem to be right, so I'm not sure where your going wrong.

As if the riddles aren't hard enough, each time you have
to type the answer in a different place, or replace specific
words....I think they want to make everyone go crazy!
