Sanitarium is a killer tune. One of my favorites of all time. But the entire Master of Puppets album for me is one of my all-time top 10.

But if I had to choose an all-time Metallica favorite, (and I HATE the new stuff....they're horrible anymore) it would have to be Orion.

The tune is incredible. I'm an instrumental guitarist so I tend to gravitate towards instrumental music. Not that singers don't have their place. I mean, they're good to send on a late-night Cheetos or pizza run, but you gotta make sure you draw them a map in crayon.

Enter Sandman is mine...I love Metallica.

im gonna have to go with ACG. Enter Sandman is an awsome song. infact, thats the only song i actualy like by them. otherwise, i think they suck.

I also like Some Kind Of MOnster off their new stuff... everyone hates Metallica and thinks they suck, but I find that if your a fan, youll stick with them through their sucky stages... I hope the rumors are true that Ive heard and they are going to be releasing a CD thats more like The Black Album: 80's metalish with a heavier rhythem

Nothing else matters is good, and For Whom the Bells Toll, is great. I dont really have a favourite song by them though.

After I was introduced to "One" they became my fave band. So either that, Fuel, Enter Sandman, or Sanitarium. I know there newest stuff hasnt been the greatest but I still love 'em.

On Metallica's Kill 'Em All album it's a well know fact that Dave Mustaine wrote all the songs for the album. In 1983 Metallica kicked Dave Mustaine out of the band and stole all his songs.
