The other day I ran disk check on my windows XP computer and it did something to the DMI files. What are the DMI files and how can I fix them. All my computer does is turn on, run the memory check and then stops and says error loading DMI files. Anyone have any clues on how I could fix this?

What is the exact error? Also is there a memory dump or is it just a line error?
