I've just been checking out the upcoming fourth installment of the Elder Scrolls series, it's looking really good - the graphics are breathtaking.

The new one will be for the PC and XBox 2(which will cost was to much). It should be a very good game tho. Cant wait till it comes out.

I wouldn't compare Fable to Elder Scrolls.. there so differant it's ridiculous... Elder Scrolls is about 1,000,000,000X better then Fable

I think RP is confused with the Lost Scrolls which is the fable sequel.

I loved Morrowind and I've seen some of the screenshots for this and it looks fantastic

It's the one game that I have been waiting for. I've had it on preorder since it was available for it. However, has the release date been pushed back a week or so? I assumed it was going to be more of a "launch" title for the 360, but now the date it completely different from the 360's release date.

As far as Fable goes, the way they made it sound before it was released and before they cut a lot of things out of the game, it could have compared to The Elder Scrolls, but sadly fell very short.

I've been hanging out Oblivion since I heard they were making it. I just hope I can stop myself playing it when i need to work.

Great graphics, even better interactivity and even better physics. This game will be fantastic, watch some of the video's and you will see why. You can do so much in it, it's amazing.

aren't those videos awesome? man its about time another good rpg comes out, i honestly don't enjoy other rpgs anymore, not since the freedom of morrowind, how can we go back?

I preordered an xbox 360 for this game, and now it doesn't come out until February. What crap is that? But either way Morrowind was awesome, taking hours of my life away. There's a chance I'll drop out of school for this game.

I might hold off on getting a 360 then. That was the one game and the reason why I put the console on preorder. Honestly I can see how this large delay might deter some people from making the purchase period. Bethesda had the perfect opportunity to release this game on a massive scale with the launch of the 360.

Besides, there are still some good games coming out for the PS2 at the start of the first quarter next year. No worry, I suppose.

i want a 360, but i'm waiting until the ps3 comes out, besides that, i heard that the first 360's won't be true HD ready, which makes sense because i don't think there is even a format ready yet, its a toss up between sony's blu-ray and toshiba's HD-DVD. so i would wait until the updated version of the 360 comes out, i think that the owners of the first 360 will get screwed, i could be wrong, but thats what i feel.

You could be waiting up until 2007 for the PS3 to come out.
The Xbox 360's will be fully capable to cater for HD-Ready TV's with full 1080i(interlaced). I'm not sure if it will have progressive, I don't know too much about that stuff to be honest.

The 360 will support progressive scan, assuming that your t.v. does, too.

*meh* I'm waiting for the PS3 to be released. Why would I spend 800 bucks when I can spend 200.....

It cost's $800 in Australia?...ouch...it's $399 here where I'm at... and I doubt the PS3 will be $200....

i loved morowind, i've plaed it on xbox and on pc, pc was way better tough there are so many mods you can get for this game and after you beat it it becomes a completely different game with mods

^^^heh, never actually finished it. Damn long game, I'd get side-tracked just exploring, took me days and weeks and I don't think I ever got close to finishing even.

Damn good game though. I'm not even sad that I didn't finish. The story wasn't what was important (though it was a good story).

lol... I think $200 will be a tad optimistic somehow. Just buy one after christmas when availability is better and prices have settled. It's the christmas rush thats causing the insanity right now.

As for Oblivion it looks amazing... so glad i've got the system to run it in it's full glory too.
