I am not looking forward to this movie. This is the first movie from DC's Vertigo line nad it looks awful, and with Reeves in it all I can imagine is a, "I'm. Going. To. Hell!"

To me he's a modern Shatner, but worse, because at least Bill could show some emotion!

Also, I expect to be "dumbed down" as not to cause offense to the Bible lovers.

hehe you dont know how wrong you are. it was an excellent movie.

My opinion isn't wrong, and neither is your's. I just can't stand Reeves, and I don't have much faith in Studios to bring the "mature" comics to life properly, I mean, even THE CROW is watered down from it's source material.

So, I'm not wrong, and nor are you.

I managed to catch Constantine last night, and found it quite enjoyable. Even though Reaves (perhaps ironically) plays a rather soulless character, the story was still an interesting one.

However about the ending… as already mentioned, I understand why Lucifer pulled out the cancer etc…but why would this make Constantine live any longer, as I thought he had just died from the self-mutilation rather than the cancer. I might have missed something, but removing the cancer would be irrelevant, he’s still dead isn't he?

I think the point is to bring him back for a sequel. Oh, and of course to give him a second chance...

lol this is a old thread but i had to find it instead of bothering to make a new one, anyways ya i just saw it and thats gotta be the best demon/devil type movie i ever saw, i liked the part at the begining when he gets the demon in the mirror

Yep it is old, the flicking the middle finger up at the devil whilst ascending into heaven was also pretty funny

Amazing movie. One of my fav of the year!

i enjoyed this movie, although i feel keanu reeves is the same in this as he is in all his other movies, oh except he smokes alot, i mean this could of been the matrix with demons in it

And btw, it doesn't look too scary and Im too young to see it, but my parents don't care about what I watch/play
