A dog was killed after being punched four times to the head by a 44-year-old man, a court has heard.
Scooter, a Chinese crested lion dog, was found dead in a wardrobe by his owners after he was attacked by Michael Morris.

Llandudno magistrates bailed Morris for psychiatric reports after he addmitted beating the dog to death.

The court heard on Wednesday that the dog had disturbed Morris while he was watching TV.

Defence solicitor Richard Williams said Morris had killed Scooter, a rare breed, at a house where he had been placed by social services in Llandudno.

He was now at the Ablett psychiatric unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital.

Scooter and another dog had been running around upstairs while Morris was watching TV.

It caused a disturbance and he then killed the dog, the solicitor added.

Court chairman Emrys Williams said a medical report was needed before sentencing "so we can consider various options."

A medical report was needed ...no kiding

Social Services put this guy here thinking this guy was as normal as the rest of us.

It's the same as it's been for the last few thousand years. You just don't hear about it.

People harm and kill animals because they're too gutless to hurt a human.

In almost 99% of serial killer cases the killer had previous animal cruelty charges.

lol Haha, well, well, well.. If that case stepped foot in my courtroom I'd give it a harsh sentence. Against the dog's owners. Discipline that dog unless it you want it dead. We're moving on in life, a tv's a man's best friend now.

wellk heres another "mindless example" of Animal Cruelty. a Gardener of a friend of mine, came home after a drinking binge very hungry, and when he saw that the Dog ate the food that his wife left for him, stabbed the dog dead. dunno if it was the alcohol, but if it was up to me, id let him loose on a cage of rabid dogs(10 minutes only, i dont wanna be sadistic:)
Cradle of Fish
He should have eaten it, then he could have gotten away with it.

Jerk mann.... do you think he would have done that say like if he had a kid.. ... hes watching...Oprah and the kid comes up..."daddy??" he flips out and beats the kid to death??? hmmm...what a jerk.

I've always hated undisciplined dogs anyway.
If it's going to bark for absolutely no reason, I have nerves bulging.
Chris_com28
But would you beat it 4 times? I have a dog so I can understand they can be really anoying sometimes, but to beat it 4 times in the head is just sick. There are times when I almost hurt him and it made me feel really bad. Anynoe who does sometime like that to another living thing because of something so trivial should be removed from society till they learn.

Me too. In fact I quite like it, well only when the person deserves it. I really can't get enough of those shows. I think in most cases they attack because of a genuine mistake or to protect themselves from us.

*Scoffs*
Under no circumstances should you feel satisfied if an animal passed on judgement to a human-being, that's just wrong.
It's condescending.

Twisted peice of s***, I'd hang him
Chris_com28
I'd probablly just let the animals after him. Though, I guess it would be better to teach him to have more control. After all it's not like he did it for fun.
absinthegreen329
I'd set my dog on him, she doesn't like anything male. But no, that would be wrong, I think this man should be permanently institutionalized. Who the heck does that? Stuff like this just burns me up inside.
