A lot of strange things happen to me like being able to predict the next commercial on the television or the next song on the radio, but I just put that down to fluke. But quite a few times now a dream that I have had in the night has come true the next day. Now I know dreams can be very surreal and althought mine mostly are there are still startling similarities between them and real life experiences. Ill give you two examples:

1st one:
I dreamt once that I, for reasons best know to myself, was ripping up a yellow pages and then sticking it back together again with glue. What the f*** that was about I have no idea but I was woken from the dream by the front door knocking. I went downstairs, opened the door, and the new Yellow Pages was on the floor outside the door, just been delivered.

2nd one:
I was dreaming that I was driving my car and it stopped. Clint Eastwood came up to me, (i LOVE surreal dreams, they make me laugh!! laugh.gif ) and told me it was broken down. The car. although wasn't the same make and model of my own car, was red like mine. Anyway, woke up, drove to the shops to buy the paper and some bacon etc for breakfast, came out of the shop and lo and behold, my car wouldn't start. Had to be towed home.

Now I know these aren't that great but stuff like it happens to me all the bloody time!!!! It's quite spooky sometimes.

This happens to me a couple times a week.. it's stupid things though..
I was sick from work one day and had a dream that one of my co workers was also ill.. when I went back the next day, I found out that she had bronchitis.. she was out the whole week..

I also had a vision of a cat with no eyes.. it just popped in my head and I was confused as too why the heck I would think of something so awful... a few hours later, my friend called me telling me that she just rescued an eyeless cat from worthless scum back yard breeder who obviously was letting relatives mate...

there are more... i can never pinpoint, except for the co worker, what is going to happen to who...

My dreams seem really bizarre until the things happen in real life. It's only then I realise just how particular they are. I don't know about you but it really spooks me out. I dont knwow what im going to do if I ever dream of somethign bad happening to someone i know.

I can also wake myself up or even change my dream if I either know or can sense that something really bad is going to happen As far as I can remember i've always been able to do it but I was told by someone else on "tinternet" that it's quite rare to be able to change your dreams. Anyone know anything about that?

My god, I will alway say "I wish this movie was on", and int he next 15 minutes, it'll be on.

Not to mention, when I have an actor crush, right after I start liking them (well known, or not), they're on tv, for a week straight. My mom has told me that if any actor needs a career boost, I should just start liking them and they'll be everywhere.

Not to mention, I'll mention something that hasn't been on my mind in years, and it'll be on tv, the radio, anything. My parents are trying to get me to pick lottery numbers.

But as far as deams go, the freakiest has been so far, that one night I had a dream that I was in a pet store, surrounded by fish. All kinds of fish, and then I ate one alive. But mainly just fish everywhere.

The next day, my cousin fell on ice, bringing me down with her. I fell on my elbow and broke it, and Mom brought me to the hospital. Well, apparently, the running theme at the hospital was fish. Fish tanks everywhere. Fish painted on the walls. In the room where I got my cast done, fish on the walls. I look on the ceiling...more fish.

That freaked my mom out just about enough.

I've always wanted to be able to know how to change my dreams! Mainly because I feel my "normal" mind thinking during the dream.

Like, once I met Conan O'brien (shh), in a dream, and my mind was like 'It's a dream! Go for it! Hit it with him!", and still, my "dream self" was like 'uh..hi..*wave*" and he walked away.

I mean, I just can't make my dream self act the way she should, dammit!

Two major ones for me:

I've had plane crash dreams for years. I had them at least once a week from the time I was a teenager until I was 21 years old. Then - September 11th. I haven't had a plane crash dream since then.

Not too long ago, I dreamed that I was running around, frantically trying to find a gas mask for my son, because the air had suddenly been contaminated and was toxic. The next day, I saw on the news that a train had crashed in SC. The train had been carrying gas, and there was so much of it in the air that they had to evacuate the area around it because the air was toxic!

I don't have dreams like this very often anymore, but when I do, I pay attention. And if my dream involves a family member or friend, I always call and check up on them afterward!

a few tongue.gif one was buying a lipgloss with a girl who was at that time my best friend.. . it even had the same name on it. .. "FABU" heh

If I dream of relatives, I make sure to call the the very next day and tell them my dream.. I have this theory that if I tell, bad things won't happen..

On the other hand, I had a dream the other night that involved my best friend's ex.. I'm not going to tell her.. and I can't post it here, cause it might not come true.. I'm evil that way.. he he..

Hey, MariaChristina, is that your guinea pig? He/She is adorable! I'm a guinea pig nut... original.gif

When I was in highschool I was dating a guy that I really liked, I had a dream that he wanted his class ring back. after I gave it back to him I saw him making out with a girl with long dark hair. When I went to school the next day he broke up with me and I found out a few days later that he was flirting with my best friend who had long dark hair.
also......
I was talking to a guy on the phone for a few weeks....a long distance fling.....
he didnt call for about 3 days and I started having a dream where he had been hurt and in the hospital. a few day later he called from a hospital and said the pulled a muscle in his leg really bad and had to have surgery.

That stuff happens to me all the time I dont think much about it anymore cus it happens so often. However the major precog dreams i have had have been when someone is going to screw me over. Like for example I almost married someone and had a dream the night before that he was fooling around behind my back and i gave him the ring back. The next day everything happend exactly the way i have dreamt it. I believe the more open you are psychically the more these things will happen and also your spirit guides contact you the most through dreams. Blessings, Jo

I get stuck with the bad ones.........you know, like your family dying, friends, etc.
Two weeks before my mum was murdered,I had a dream about a nun and a lot of religious figures trying to dig up my backyard. Two weeks later,my mum was killed by a minister's wife.(accident)

Now that almost all of my family is gone,I dream about other peoples misfortunes and such.I don't even enjoy sleeping anymore.
Method
I get these constantly, many people believe is some sort of reaction between the con. mind and the uncon. mind, ( Deja Vu )

Hello All new to the site. it is great

I have dreams all the time that come true. I didn't start noticing that this occured until my mother died when I was a teenager, and then I realized that I had been dreaming about her dieing for months before hand. My dream always consisted of coming home from school and finding someone dead. One day I came home from school and found my mom dead.

I listen very intently now to my dreams. and I can always pick out which ones will happen and which are just stupid dreams.

this doesn't feel totally appropriate after what i seen this morning but its starting to scare me now. i had a really weird dream this morning that I was in work and was feeling really really sad and feeling nausea too. It was like a really bad feeling of sorrow and regret etc. I was taken off the department by my boss who was talking to me about whatever was bothering me.

Anyway, I woke up and went to work. On my way there was a kid in the middle of the road on his bike waitin to cross. I remember thinking "stupid boy, an accident waiting to happen! why doens't he use the bridge??". Next thing, I was stopped at the lights about 20 metres up the road and i heard a noise like someone scraping past my car, i turned around and seen a car dragging the kids bike and the kid on the floor, covered in blood. I went over and he was in a really really bad way. Anyway, dont wanna talk about that part anymore. But im in work now, and feeling awful, feeling scared, worried and am feeling regret. Feel like i couldve done more. Have had words with my boss and everything.

I've had plenty of plane crash dreams, they seem so real. I live really close to an airport, and see planes going over all the time, so maybe it's just fear of a plane crashing close by. I always see them from my own point of view, seeing the plane crash close to my home, maybe within 1 mile. I never experience the crash as a passenger on a plane. I hate to admit this, but in the dream I have some kind of weird fascination with seeing the planes crash. Sounds stupid, but I hate to have those dreams, but I also don't hate it. I'm not comfortable with it at all. no.gif

To change the topic a little, A guy I used to work with once told me that he'd had two dreams where friends of his had found out they were pregnant, only to tell him not too long after he had dreamed it, that they were actually pregnant.

Anyway, not long before he'd told me that I had a dream where an ex-girlfriend told me that she was pregnant, so I'm just waiting to find out......

Yeah i've had alot of dreams come true, now when i do have a dream i note it down for future reference, it really creepy when they do come true.
