im a HUGE wolverine fan since i can remember.(hence my logged in name:loganXman.) ever since i was in middle school to be exacted. i have almost most of the toys. i have some pretty cool posters as well. so i cant wait to see Hugh Jackman kick some as wolverine.
Space Moose
The coolest thing about the X-Men is Wolverine. What is the coolest thing about Wolverine? HE IS CANADIAN!

RAAA!!! That means he is tough! Just like three down football! Just like a hockey fight! Just like Instant Mashed potatoes! GRRRR!!!

</nationalpride>

Okay, so maybe Instant Mashed Potatoes are not all that tough, but they were still invented in Canada.

And we have free Health Care! Yippie! If I ever get all beat up by some aliens, I might be told that I didn't see anything, but at least I won't have to pay for the privelage.
Dowdy
The best thing about Hugh Jackman (aka Wolverine) - He's an Aussie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aussie, Aussie, Aussie, Oi, Oi, Oi biggrin.gif
SpaceyKC
That is a nice attribute, but I can think of several
that are much better about him. tongue.gif
loganXman
wolverine just has the best lines, the best lines in comics, cartoons, and movies. one of my favorite lines is from the cartoon when cyclops is telling not to leave anymore and he just says, "i go or i wanna go". that just plain awsome. the guy is the shizz nit.
Space Moose

Well... I'm not so sure about that. He has a few good zingers in there, mostly directed at Cyclops (who is fully deserving of them because he is a pansy). Most of Wolverine's lines are pretty simple. He just growls out a name like "Morph" or "Sabertooth" or just a generic "Allright, Bub."

That brings me to another point. There was apparently a Wolverine album released sometime in the 90's (earlier rather than later). It's not hard to imagine why Marvel nearly folded when they did stuff like that. Anyone have more info?
loganXman
or how bout, "i can feel him" lol, laugh.gif laugh.gif
im sorry but he is just too cool
shinky shinky shinky

Isn't that what Vader tells the Emperor in Jedi?
Sageghost
Looking forward to it - have to check when it's out here though!

grin.gif grin.gif grin.gif grin.gif grin.gif grin.gif

Tommy
Should be seeing this tonight. cool.gif
albaqwerty
Tommy, apart from the fact that I'm jealous that u hope to see this tonight, shouldn't you be studying tongue.gif
Ronin6th
Think I'll go see it tonight, I can't wait for it!

And I heard from a friend that there's something surprising in the end!
Guest
my bad, the quote i wanted to say was "i can smell him". lol right now they are showing a special on E! called Xmen untied. losts of clips of the movie, im tryin not to see it.
Ronin6th
I've just seen it and I must say that it really rules! Diablo is a really cool character, and I love his fighting style!

Tommy
Alba, perhaps you’ve never heard the infamous student dictum “revision can always wait another day” biggrin.gif tongue.gif

Ronin, by Diablo do you mean Nightcrawler? The opening sequence is awesome! cool.gif Unfortunately for me the movie didn’t live up to my expectations of greatly superseding the first one, but still it was very enjoyable. Great action sequences throughout!

Yeah quite unXpected you could say. huh.gif blink.gif Bags of room for more sequals to follow though. smile.gif
Magikman
Thanks for that, Tommy, atleast now I know not to try to fight the Friday night stampeed and wait for the more relaxed and thinner early Saturday matinee.

Ronin6th
You're right Tommy, I was talking about Nightcrawler I forgot he used to have another name in france...

And I totally agree with your comments about the movie, I still prefer the first movie, but this one is very enjoyable!
Dowdy
I saw the movie on the weekend. I loved the action and the new characters and it's got the plot i love - goodies team up with baddies to kill something more evil.

I bet i can predict what X-Men 3 will be like and if you've watched the cartoon series (The Uncanny X-Men, not Evolution) you know what i mean when i say the word PHOENIX
Ronin6th
Of course I know Dowdy...wink.gif
SpaceyKC

I finally got to see 'The X-Men' movie last night ~ it was
all that I hoped it would be! Lots of action, lots of
scenes with WOLVERINE!! YAY! And I agree, it was good to see
them all team up together to fight real bad guys! cool.gif
Althalus
yay the pheonix saga, that'll be good, welcome the Tal Shiar
racerette
SpaceMoose, Canada rocks!!!!!!!

As for the movie, I haven't seen it yet. I will wait until it comes to the "cheap theatres" biggrin.gif
neen
I'm waiting for it to go to the Drive-in, more relaxed atmosphere.Btw does anyone else have a drive-in near, it seems there dying out.
Kismit
Neenron , I believe there are only 2 Drive in's left in Australia . sad.gif There is one where I used to live . I took my hubby there when we went over . He loved the experience , even if the movie was a little crappy . cool.gif

He better have, or you two must be doing it the wrong way biggrin.gif

When I lived in Oregon, we had a few drive-ins close to us, but haven't seen any when I lived in Michigan, or here in Florida.
neen
Wow Kismit, i didn't know it was only 2, i must be lucky living in a town with 1 from a dying era.
Kismit
Neenron it would be a real shame to lose them . The Drive ins are so cool . I remember when I was younger we used to jump the fence , with a blanket lay down in the car park and *cough * cough* watch the movie wink.gif .
the good ol' days. wub.gif
Well what can I say Homer the movie wasn't so great . biggrin.gif
neen
Ahh yes Kismit those were the good 'ol days.We also take blankets as well as a mattress, but alas no hanky panky for me and my mate, not when you have rugrats watching your every move(and giggling, saying ohh gross, when where just having a little smooch) biggrin.gif
Kismit
Lol Neenron . My mum and Dad think I was concieved at the Drive in laugh.gif in the back of a HT Holden no less . Now that's classy biggrin.gif
neen
At least it was in a Holden Kismit and not a Ford. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif
Bizarro
well, i know there used to be a drive-in near Detroit because i remember seeing Avalanche(yes, a cheezy 70's movie) at the drive-in when i was a kid. i also remember how exciting it was to drive past it and see a nice set of boobies from time to time laugh.gif

where did you live in Michigan, Homer?
Homer
Kalamazoo, Michigan
Bizarro
ahh, i used to live in Utica, just north of Detroit. all my family still lives in Michigan. my Dad moved us south and we just never went back smile.gif
Homer
I was never raised in Michigan, but I moved there after my active duty with the military ended. I was single, in my early 20’s, thousands of dollars in my pocket and nothing waiting for me in my hometown. I could go anywhere and do anything—within reason of course. Why I chose Michigan is still a mystery to me.
Bizarro
hehe, i bet i know why you live in Florida now though, eh? laugh.gif

i could never live in Michigan again. i am far too southern now and my family makes fun of the way i talk everytime i go to visit.
Homer
I lived in Michigan for 4 years, but didn’t move to Florida for the weather. The temps here have been almost 100 degrees for the past two days, and I prefer milder climates, such as the Pacific Northwest
FreyKade
i thought it was a quality film, and good how they left it open for another film, but also closed it off abit
*m3ntaL*PaTienT*
wolverine is g0od and all but i have to say that nightcrawler was the BEST!!
the first scene was the best scene in the whole movie...and i am happy that wolverine actually killed people in this one....but i think that strikers son had the craziest power...if i am right i think he was an Illusionist..that would be a crazy power.....but the movie was really g0od and i cant wait to see the next one w/ gambit arch angel and the beast that will be c0ol blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif blink.gif
