I was wondering if we could find the oldest/earliest photograph in existence, by existence I don't mean the original still has to be around, just the picture itself.

Latticed window

This is what I came up with. It says it was printed from the earliest known set of negatives - 1835. But there may be something older. Even so, looking at an actual photograph taken amost 200 years ago is pretty cool.

"The metal was placed inside a camera obscura, which Niépce pointed out the window of his workroom and exposed for eight hours, then fixed with oil of lavender and white petroleum"

Cool, old pinhole camera, devloper and fixer, I love it.
I love using pinhole cameras. That photograph is very haggard, lol. Thanks for sharing that Sub.

Coast View

This is a picture by Carleton Watkins, and it's impressively clear given that it was taken in 1863.
Athenian
Im sure some Space Aliens took some snapshots thousands of years ago...
