Just my little thing. Maybe he wanted to cover it all up?
And about Nessie not being able to live for that long, who knows? There may be two living there. And I know some reptiles can change their sex if needed. But now these are just my own little thoughts. Thanks for the link, by the way!

There HAS to be more than one. No creature can live in solitary.

It's probably just me that thinks that.

Actually a solitary monster is a common misconception. It is technically impossible.
jessicalawes11
Mar 12 2005, 07:30 PM
That is true. I mean, come on, how could it live alone? Seriously!

Like I said, whatever the species is - it could be living off of a great surplus of food and could keep a continuing life cycle of reproduction -

What a fascinating speculation..
I never imagined the reality of this Loch Ness would be anymore of maybe 6 seconds of pre-recorded video tape, but now observing talks of predicting its living enviroment make my imagination run wild

It has been proven there is no Loch Ness monster. There would have to be an entire colony and no trace of any large creature has ever been found. It all amounts to little more than wishful thinking.

Who has proven it fake? What evidence do you have for your claim? ...

As a member of UM and a columnist on UM, if your going to be so negative about our topics here at UM don't even bother posting them. I thought this guy's thread was rude and very sarcastic. Do some actual research before arguing it is fake. The Lochness Nessie is one of the most talked about crypto's in the last 2 decades.
Like the one guy threaded, prove that it is fake. If you can't prove it's fake, then you're a fake! And yes they have found radar motion of unexplained things down in the Loch and even mapped out the size of Nessie by radar. Your going to deny us the facts of millions of photos of the same creature for decades? I think not.

yeah...loch ness monster is so talked about how could there really been nothing there... i mean sure.. maybe there may be nothing there now.. if you wanna go by how they dont have evidence but somthing was there at one point and may still be there doing a GREAT job at hiding its self from us....and sure you could say how outrageous it is that a living dino may b living there.. well maybe it isnt a dino but it is somthing...
*a beleiver of nessie the living dino*
(had to make sure people knew that cuzz i sounded a little non-beleiver-ish)

I agree with everyone basically and all I just want to say is that nothing could be proved fake until scientifically and announced fake worldwide.
Like I said before, its just like saying:
"The accused is not guilty until proven guilty".

Burnside once confronted that idea. What he was saying went along the lines of:
"Some guy could say he saw a flying elephant that could breathe fire. you wouldn't beleive him until you saw proof. Your logic is flawed. Unless something has evidence of it's exsistence, it doesn't exsist."
He didn't say those exact words, but that was his point.

Well I guesse I know what you are talking about, how it's not fake or real untill proven, but anything is possible.

I agree with Madeye... you can't just flit in with a comment and not back it up with proof. If you take time to read through the whole threads you will find there are intersting ideas on Nessie, like it may be passing through the Loch on a migration run or similar. As for not finding any remails... where would you find it??? 900metres below the surface, you cant see a metre below that cloudy water. In fact they have not found remails of Bigfoot, Yeti, Chupa and all the other Cryptids so this must mean they all don't exist, except maybe the giant squid??
