Hey. Last night, well this morning I had a weird experience. I woke up, it was still dark, and looked around. My room is normally pitch black at night, but I saw on the other side of my room, a white... thing, I don't know what it was. It was floating, and had some form to it. I blinked and it was still there. By then I just grabbed my remote and turned on the TV for light, freaked out, and the thing was gone. I was wondering if y'all had any idea of what it could be? Was it a spirit or something? Or am I just losing it? tongue.gif Thanks.

I have a few questions before I answer you, if you don't mind, that is?

Firstly, how long have you lived in the house?

Secondly, have you had anyone pass away recently (like 12 months or less), or have been talking or thinking about them in an emotional way?

Thirdly, have you been messing with the paranormal, call things up or playing with ouija boards? Or smoking a lot of pot/taking other stuff?

Lastly, have you had any other paranormal experiences?

Once I know these things, I may be able to help you.

Nope, I don't mind! I've lived in thos house for alittle over a year, well, it's a duplex, and we lived downstairs, and moved up here a few months ago. We had alot of freaky things happen downstairs, and my mom got it blessed. I have been thinking about my Grandma alot lately, who was killed 2 years ago, alot more than usual. I've had a fascination with Ouija Boards, and used one at my dad's house a few days ago. I think that's about it... thanks.

I woke up at 4am a few months back....(for no reason) and there was a white misty haze floating above the bed.....above my wife to be exact...at first i thought i was dreaming so i ran through everything i'd done that day to check how alert i was.......i was not asleep..it didnt move and it wasn't scary...I just went back to sleep.I thought my wife was having an obe to be honest. When i asked her next day she said that she had been having dreams of her mother who passed on a few years ago.....!!!!!
Your experience sounds almost identical to mine but i didn't know what it was either.....!!!!!

Wow, weird. Anyway you need at least 4 people to use a ouji board propaply. But i wouldn't suggest using them at all.

Hey, thanks everyone. I would try to get a digital camera, but I have no way to get one. sad.gif As for the Ouija Board, I want to try to get one, but my mom hates them, and I'm moving from here at the end of the week. I have a homemade one though, which actually has worked before that I'm gonna try, but I'll have to alone. None of my friends that live around here will use them. That's even if I try, I dunno. Nothing else has happened yet, I don't think. I ended up falling asleep with my TV on last night. lol

PC17: DO NOT mess with a Ouija board on this occasion (or ANY occasion, but that's just my opinion - they are ICKY, especially for young people...ICKY I tell you) Lower energies just LOVE them, especially when used by teenagers. There are safer ways of exploring the paranormal, surely.
Are you really prepared to deal with the consequences should something nasty come along and decide you're it's new best friend?

OK - lecture over. Sorry, those &$#@# boards are a no.1 pet hate of mine.

Sorry about your grandma. What happened, if you don't mind talking about it?
And let me know if anything odd goes on in your new place?
PerfectCell17
Good point... Those boards freak me out, and I really don't want to risk contacting anything bad. Man, my best friend made her own to try, and now she just told me she threw it out cause she got really freaked (and she's always saying it's all in your mind), and she just warned me not to use mine. She won't tell me if anything happened or not. And about my Grandma, she and my Grandpa were murdered about 2 years ago by my uncle... and I've been kind of obsessing about the case lately. I also found out that an old friend of my mom's commited suicide in this house a few years ago. And I'll be sure to let y'all know if anything happens here before I move and at my new place.

Hey PC17,
sad.gif I'm so sorry about the terrible tragedy in your family. It must've been hard on you and your mum. Was your grandma connected to anyone called Joan? I keep hearing that name when posting to you. I feel you've seen your Gran. I think she had more belief in the afterlife than she ever let on!

If you need to talk about it, I'd be happy to hear you.

original.gif I'm glad you've decided agianst the Ouija board stuff. Clever you.

I forgot to add: try not to obsess about it. Go talk to someone - a counsellor, maybe. I know from personal experience that sometimes people don't 'get over' terrible events for a long, long time, if ever, and that the memories rise up every now and then (usually just when I thought I'd 'gotten over' it !).
Healing can take as long as you need it to take, and I don't think you're fully healed yet. So please, go find someone kind to talk to baout your feelings & worries.
PerfectCell17
Thanks, and I'm not sure about the Joan thing. I'm not really sure of anyone she knew outside of our family, but that name sounds familar. Yeah, I really don't think I'll be using a board anytime soon, if ever again. I've been freaked since yesterday, and being home alone doesn't help, and I don't want to start anything else. Thanks again, if I need to talk atleast I know I have someone to listen. original.gif
