I Think 2100 Will Be The Year
What Do You Think? w00t.gif

I don't think that there is anybody who doesn't believe in time travel(except those that don't believe in 'time'). We're traveling forward in linear time right now. Time dilation is another form of time travel. All these forms represent going forward, however.
Since just after the big bang, there has always been time travel. Perhaps you should be more specific dontgetit.gif

By the way, hasn't this question been asked a hundred times before already?

I mean like in a Machine that sees time as a road that you can go forward or back happy.gif

There was a day that had no yesterday(Big Bang) and maybe someday there wont be a tomarrow...

well if the big bang is an infinite loop, the day before the big bang would have been the big crunch, and the day after our current universes big crunch would be a big bang

Not for a while, but I think it will be possible thumbsup.gif

Humanity will never invent a machine for speeding up or rewinding time.

The only way humans can time travel is to stumble into it twilight zone style...

Example, going hiking up into a foggy mountain peak, getting lost, and then eventually finding your way back down only learn that 50 years have passed instead of 5 hours and that time has forgotten you.

Or you fall or fly into this inter-dimensional hole where you see all sorts of weird and psychedelic junk, then you eventually end up in a completely different galaxy on some alien planet 2,000,000 years in the past or future... ohmy.gif

time travel will never happen withing the next 1000 years. humanity would need superior material and help form abroad. VERY EASY.

If time-travel could really be made possible in the future, I always begin to wonder why I have never heard a case of anyone claiming to come from the future. I mean, if a time-travelling machine was invented, and if people could actually go though time unaltered (e.g. if they were 21, they wouldn't turn to a baby if they went back 20 years) they would surely try to claim the discovery in the new time-zone, perhaps go on TV etc. to publicise the fact...

I know I would tongue.gif

what makes you think that our time period is the ideal period to travel back too? what if time travel is discovered 1 million years from now, and the year 2005 has no meaning to them

I say sometime around 2100 that's my personal opinion.... happy.gif

i believe in the whole "going into space and time slowing down" thing, or whatever, but hollywood time travel will never exist.
