hey guys, my gf recently broke up with me, the nite before we were goin to my home town and spend easter weekend w/ my folks. im not looking for sympathy(but it doesnt hurt), im just looking for ways to make me cheer up. any post ups of jokes or anything of that matter will really help. im a very humours guy. i like to laugh. so can u please help. thanx.

How long were you going out anyway?

i know you dont wanna hear this now, but this is just part of learning. i know, ive had the pleasure of "learning" a lot. the thing is, it will help you detect the type of person that you want to be with a little easier than it was before this happened. it will lead you to stop choosing a girlfriend on arbitrary characteristics and instead seek out the person who is really right for you. that is a good thing, as bad as this hurts. try to focus on that and realize that the pain you feel right now is the same pain that drives musicians to write beautiful songs, an artist to paint a beautiful picture, or a poet to weave a moving poem. take some time to try and do those things.

the day will come when you will look back on this hurt and smile. i know it seems impossible now, but time does heal all wounds. you may even come to see the reasons why this relationship was doomed to begin with, and that will reassure you that the pain was not just needless torture but that you learned from it. plus, an added bonus, when you've had all these revelations and moved on with your happy new life, you may just get a phone call one day. you know that girl who you think is so happy now leaving you behind? she just may call you one lonely night and admit that she was wrong to have done this to you and she would do anything to have you back in her life again. you can pity her, but you know that she is not the right one for you now... so you gently tell her that you are so sorry but there is no chance. then you will smile because you realize that God did this to you for a reason, so that you could find the right person. the person who makes you so happy that you realize you were a fool when you thought you knew what true love was all about.

I'm sorry Logan, I wish I could think of a joke to make you laugh, but my favorite comics are from Gary Larson and I think he's retired (although I have some special ones I cut out of the paper, I'll have to figure out how to
post them here). Also I watch The Cartoon Network, some of those really make me laugh.
