My friend just said she had demons in her house and they were smothering her, she couldn't breathe, they left but said they'd be back. if anyone in here knows how to make them not come, please tell me.

Hate to be all cynical at you, Austin, but I think before you call out the exorcist you should find out whether there's any other reasons for your friend's problems - like mental illness (sorry, but it happens to the best of us), sleep apnoea (which I've heard can cause sensations of weight on the chest), or the possibility that your friend is just desperate for a little extra attention right now.
I don't believe in 'demons'. I do believe there are some seriously nasty entities, though, that love to mess with the minds of young people, especially those that have been playing around with paranormal/occult things for "fun". If that's the case, the best thing to do is get your friend to stop doing whatever he/she is doing and find something more 'normal' to do for a while. If this doesn't work, get back to me.
Sorry if none of this applies to your friend- no insult intended, but I've heard enough stories like this to know what to look for.

I have sleep apnea, and I don't even realize it. If i wasn't told that i had it, then i would never have known.... i just stop breathing periodically in the night. My uvula (dangly thingy in your mouth) is huge because of it, and it swells to be about an inch long sometimes.
ANYWHO! Just tell your friend to pray. I don't know if your friend is Christian, but if she is, then she should pray, and tell the demons to go away in the name of Jesus Christ... that should work. I also agree with salshep... your friend might be trying to get attention too...
i'll pray for her.

Someone Who has a strong Will, and High Spirits are those who have strong minds. Demons may not exist in the physical plane of existence - they live on a hgher plane. They have a tendency to make people deprived, sick, unmotivated in life, and greedy. Those who have a weak soul are more exposed to demons, and fall victim to their negative influences... We see these people every day in ourlives, however, we cose to accept that they are responsible for the state they are in, and sometimes they are just the unfortunate ones who are victim to disaster. Maybe so in our realm of thinking.. we fail to take into account there are factors on a higher plane of existence which affect our fortunate and unfortunate lives today.

So You are also refering to me as a lunatic? .. Be careful, You dont want to adress a handful of strangers in that way! You will be suprised how easy it is to track someone down off the internet. .. "First": anyone can look for help from anywhere they like. We are not ALL Lunatics! we just present our opinions in a different manner. What I mentioned earlier on today was based upon a general view of people who have learned through their supernatural experiences .. its been in books also in the alien abduction phenomena - Demons do not nesacerily resemble figures such as goblins... they can be seen as a similar connection to the 'reptillians' - those of you who know about them would understand that they have a tendency to corrupt mankind mentally by manipulating our desires for putting greed as the factor which is breaking us all up. We do not see demonds because they do not exist in the realm we live in.. they affect the weak minded.
"second": No One has the rite to tell people to give someone more attention than others!!

I don't believe in demons in the Biblical sense- however, I do believe the the spirits of mean people in life continue to be mean afterwards. I also believe that in some cases negative energy can reach a critcal mass, and gain some rudimentary sentience.
As for how to prevent them? There are so many theological suggestions, I won't bother to recount them. I will say however, that often a positive environment will keep them at bay so to speak.

It's not nice at all to threaten people like that. In fact, I think it's scary and weird. If you have no sense of humour, find another board, maybe one where it's OK to make threats. Are you gonna track me down, too, for having an opinion? Sheesh!

I have something similar to this, I see dark weird objects "floating" around my room at night. They have never done anything harmful to me (yet?), and I have only felt them once.
Of course I have to take into consideration my mind could be playing tricks on me.

Why if you should encounter an unpleasant unknown force must people call it a demon? If your friend calls it a demon, then they must be true to their word.. The opposition to demonic activity is faith, prayer and the enlistment of Jesus Christ. Anywhom, I think the problem is a bit more realistic than 'demons' hunting her down. Try psychological depression. Opposition to that is therapy, medication and rehab.

Well I'm sure you wouldn't feel the same once it happens to you. They haven't dared disturb my breathing yet but I'm freaked out enough to stay up all night in fear of falling asleep.
My experience with therapists was pretty useless. They just encouraged me to sleep normally (which was what I did before the problems) and keep a record of my sleep. All he did was look at the records trying to find a pattern and talked a bit about my daily, never ending stressors. But I guess it can be good to get a psychological examination of her to see if she suffers from some mental problem which I doubt.
Also there might be some way to help her breathe more easily which my make the demons go.
Maybe some kind of meditation or mind control could help. Mental or demonic, I doubt they'll do much harm if the mind is powerful enough and wont let them.
I don't think this has helped me much in banishing or regaining movement after SP them but love does seem to at least help psychologically. Abductess also report that Greys hate love and it causes them to leave so it might help your friend. Tell her to confront them with love, strength and confidence.

First, be sure this is a real problem, and that your friend is not having other problems. If this is for real, she needs to get saved, fast. Then she would have the authority to order any demons away, and keep them out of her house.
