I have a friend who saw a show on television about this creature that they think is as yet undiscovered, but has been seen on some camera footage darting across the screen at lightning speeds. There is supposedly a whole internet community talking about this phenomena and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they were called so I could look into it. All I know is that they shoot across the screen so fast they just look like a trail of light but when slowed down, it looks like some sort of flying creature.

I post it in here because I’m told they were classified as UFO’s for a while and still may very well be.

Can anyone shed any light on this for me? Any and all help is much appreciated.

Thanks

I would say that you are talking about RODS.....theres tons of stuff on the net about them.Personally i think theyre just bugs....!Go to The "rense" site and use the site search engine you'll get loads there.......good luck

I too think there bugs. I have taped lots of objects and the ones that move that fast i just ignore because its hard to prove!

They are probably just wasps...

Anyway, if they were a new kind of species, we would of caught some by now and studied them since there are heaps of them flying around.

Those are some of the best pictures ive seen of Rods thumbsup.gif
And i think it would be pretty hard to catch some considering how fast they are..

There was a programme on Sky recently about these called proof positive.....

Basically they investigated these 'creatures' and whether they were real or not etc....

After presenting some extremely simple and convincing evidence AGAINST rods existence, i'm happy to say i dont think they exist and are just insects.

They are simply normal bugs caught on film. Research it with any photographic/video expert and they can tell you why the bugs appear as 'Rods' but basically it boils down to the fact that they fly faster than the capture frame rate of a video camera, so it kinda takes sequential shots of a bug in one frame, thus elongating the body and flapping wings to make it look like a 'rod' when in fact its just a bug. Do a google search for rods debunking or something and you'll find lots of stuff about them (both for and against)
