Hey everyone - this is Naveed's fiancee, Beth. My mom called me tonight and asked me to help my cousin out with her house. Of course being the person I am, I said yes immediatly. heres why:

The house was sold in 2001 to my cousins (right across the street from my mom's house that she just sold) and its in a very victorian area. All the houses on the block are 2 story with the basement making up the 2nd floor. At the time before my cousins moved into it, there was a lady there named Sue. Sue was crazy. She would yell and scream at the top of her lungs at 3:00AM for no reason. She was always the loudest one on the block. When she was mad, you would know it befor stepping out side of your house. her husband, Hal, was a quiet type and always used to apologize for his wifes "outbursts" and was generally a normal guy.

When it came time for sue and her husband to put the house up for sale, they did it in a manner almost like they were rushing to leave. They didnt spend anymore time in the house than they had to. They had redone the basement into a really nice family room, repainted, carpeted and put in a laundry room. But - they never used it. There was a TV down stairs, and that was it.

When the time came for my cousins to move in, we all had a blast moving them in. It was really neat that my cousins were living across the street. They are a married couple in their 30's with 3 kids, Emma being the youngest. it wasnt even 2 days after they moved in that Emma ran to her mom, Mindy, and said "Moma, there are people trying to talk to me in my closit" Emma was only 3 at the time. Mindy though "oh she's just imagining these things, I wont worry about it" untill about a week later, they were playing with playdough on the table, with mindy's back to the living room and Emma sitting where the living room was on her right. Mindy said Emma's face went pure white and she wouldnt move or talk. She asked what Emma saw and all Emma would say was "There is someone in the living room!" Mindy looked in the living room - no one was there. After this, every night since they moved into the house for the first, oh Id say 2 years, there would be a sound like someone was banging on the pipes down stairs. When Mindy went down to look - no one was there. She knocked on the pipes and had her husband see if he could hear it from the bedroom upstairs and he said he could, but it wasnt the same clanking noise. but was defenetly the same noise in general.

Everything calmed down till now - their kids are sleeping upstairs in sleeping bags because they keep hearing and seeing things down stairs. My mom wont tell me what it is, because she wants me to experiance it on my own. All I know is Jerry, Mindy's husband - slept down there and had a motion detector installed in the laundry room - where the kids keep hearing the noises. She said he saw a full figured man down stairs and thats what set off the alarm. there was no one down there but jerry - no cats, dogs, anything.

Now comes the part that I need help with - seeing as there is a male figure wandering around downstairs. I need to figure out if there is a way I can talk to him. The other thing is, I think the ghost that is talking to Emma upstairs, I think, is a child around the age of 8. Emma's closit ceiling goes up higher than the ceiling of the room, and has a window almost to the top of the closit. Im thinking that a child got locked in there and somehow died and is trying to get Emma to help him out, by talking to her. I need to know what people think about this.

Im going to spend the night on saturday, with a tape recorder, journal and probably a video tape. My other question is - should I be cautious since I am 3 months pregnant? or will the ghost not care? I really need some help here...thank you for reading!
By the way - I need info from ppl who have experianced this before - like I have - this is for real, not just some dumb ghost hunt. Ghosts are attracted to me, I can tell where they are when they are there, and about what age. Thank you again!

If I may Beth I would suggest a digital voice recorder, and if you are going to be alone a dependable two - way radio, with extra batterys. Some places draw power from batterys so take extra.
Also I would suggest a candle or oil lamp as a light source, they seldom go out and the flame is a good indicator of movement or a presents.
I hope Emma is not permanently frightened by her experiences. My Grand Daughter talks to invisible friends once in a while, and I simply listen to her and tell her I,am to old to here her friends. She's only three and I don't want her scared.
