A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland.
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was in Marilyn Monroe

The last coincident is one I never heard before! Very funny, j6p!

This was brought up once before, it seems some of the 'facts' are quite inaccurate;

1.Both presidents were concerned with the issue of civil rights. It would be more amazing if they hadn't been concerned with civil rights, because civil rights were THE SOCIAL CONCERNS of the day in both instances. During both of these time periods the country was nearly torn to pieces over the issue. In fact, to characterize the Lincoln Presidency as being "particularly concerned with civil rights" seems a comic understatement.
3.Both were slain on a friday and in the presence of their wives. Lincoln was actually shot on Thursday and died on Friday, whereas Kennedy was shot and died on Friday. Once again the full story has not quite the parallel that the simple story suggests.
6. John Wilkes Booth was born in 1839 and Lee Harvey Oswald was born in 1939. Booth was actually born in 1838.
8.Booth and Oswald were both southerners favoring unpopular ideas. J. Wilkes Booth was born in Maryland. The best a person could argue is that Wilkes was a southern sympathizer maybe.
10.Lincoln's secretary,whose name was Kennedy,advised him not to go to the theater the night he was killed. Lincoln had two secretaries, John J. Nicolay and John M. Hay. He did not have a secretary named Kennedy.

Booth ran from the theater and was caught in a warehouse. Booth was killed in a shoot out while hiding in a grain storage barn, hardly a 'warehouse'.

A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland. There is no historical documentation for a city, town, village, named Monroe in Maryland.

A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Maryln Monroe. Monroe had been dead nearly a year before the Kennedy assassination.

** I personally don't know what to make of it, there were some facts that have been proven wrong, but there are all sorts of ideas what this is. Many say its a government conspiracy, a Ford conpsiracy, same soul or entity that wanted them dead, same soul or entity in Lincoln and Kennedy and others say mere coincidences... **

give me the facts that he did shoot him...have you ever been to the sixth floor museum in dallas...go there and then tell me oswald shot kennedy...being from texas I know a few more little dirty secrets about this state and who was behind kennedy's assasination...namely LBJ...there is a list of 8 people he had killed including his own sister #8 on the list JFK

the sleepygrizz is right in my oppion. There are people who said that the real shooter was at the grassyknoll But we will never know.

Not to digress....but I believe there were at least two shooters. One of them was probably Oswald....the other perhaps working for the mafia or some such thing (which would also be why Oswald was assassinated later).

It's a very complex story that, quite frankly, we'll probably never know the real ending of.

there was a really good History channel documentary about this time last year that really exposed a lot of the differant sub-stories of what was going on during this time....it also said that the reason that lee harvey oswald was framed for the assassination of jfk was that he failed in an attempt to infect fidel castro with a highly lethal form of cancer, that a girl he was dating in new orleans had helped create...she was on the show it was a 5 or 6 part show with each part being an hour long...also another interesting thing was that LHO's girlfriend said that he had introduced her to a man named Jack Rubenstein(jack ruby) when they were talking Jack said something like yeah i've known LHO his whole life.....crap have any of you seen the movie Slackers by Richard Linklatter...if you have..this is stupid but i just reminded myself of the nerd in the library obsessed with the Jfk ass...just as side thought that made me laugh
