It's called regression, right? when you undergo a hypnosis session and is taken back to a past life? There's this local guy that advertises about it, says he's taking a course and need test people... the cost is 300 crowns, that would be 30 dollars.
Do you think I should apply or not?

As a person who has trained in hypnotherapy and has studied clinical psychology and hypnosis, there is little doubt that this person could harm you in this manner. That being said, I consider the whole regression business bunkum, and that any sort of memory recollection (the valid kind) is much like exploratory surgery, in that it requires a great deal of experience and pre-planning, as well as an objective third party, in order to avoid the serious pitfalls involved.
To be perfectly honest, this person's offer sound more like some nefarious scheme, which could end in criminal activities as relatively innocent as a scam to more serious rape. That is just the military police officer in me speaking, but I wouldn't touch this with a ten-foot pole.

well cattalina from the sounds of it everyone might be right here and by the way if he's taking courses and needs to test it on people he shouldn't be charging people right?

and if you do decide to go, ask him to bring a friend. If he refuse, don't go
My husband is an hypnotist and when a young women comes he always tells her to bring a friend, even tought I am here. It makes her feel more comfortable and it protects him at the same time as well from false accusation.
And altough I agree that he should not charge if it is only practice, 30$ is still not a lot of money in that field.
BUt PLEASE dont go alone.

Of course I would never go alone! Thanks for your advice

I'll call him in a few days to "hear him out". It seems a lot of people have ripped off the little phone-notes from his paper in the store. If it's a scam, I'll probably hear about it.
