This is a picture of a couple, the girl on the left, the boy on the right. You can see one of his arms in a striped shirt. The picture was taken with a digital camera, but none of the pictures taken immediately before and after this pic came out strange. Nobody moved, and there was nobody else there.

Any theories as to what could have happened?

the picture wont work no.gif

I can see it fine...?
Cadetak
im no cameraologist or ghostologist for that matter but im guessing smeared poo across the lense or better yet a poo monster had his poo finger over the lense.
Neo2005
maybe a momentary smudge on the lense
Shivel
Perhaps the camera moved slightly?
Ruby
or it was Dusty the dust monster tongue.gif I have no idea what it could be ?

It doeseb't really seem that weird. It's nothing I would call "ghostly" or anything. Perhaps you need to check that camera out, the lens may have a smudge of some sort on it...

But photos taken immediately afterwards were normal. I didn't think it was ghostly, I just thought it was weird that thats the only one to come out like that. Surely if the camera moved, the whole picture would be blurred, not just half of it smudged completely out?

it looks liek someone moving into the shot as the pic was taken to me

"No-one moved"

You are mistaken. That is clearly motion blur.
djdodo
I can see it now .. but still am not sure what it could be .. I mean .. if the digi cam isnt from good quality .. then you could expect this kind of thing to happen .. plus .. I dont think that the dude to the right wasnt moving .. or else .. maybe the person who took the photo had his/her finger on the lense .. it happens huh.gif
