Not me. Not anyone I know or am friends with. Not even anyone on the local news.
I will however, relate an interesting story which proves that many times the human mind can generate it's own beasties.
My friend lives outside of town, further out than me, on a one-time farm cut out of Northern Ontario bush. One evening, fairly recently, her father announced that he had seen a lynx on their property. Lynx being very rare, all of the family went into the back yard to look out on the woodlot and see if the lynx would come by. (This is the way I interpreted the story...it may have happened differently.)
All of a sudden, there was a scream, 'a young girl's scream' as my friend said. It gave her chills. Afterwards there were a few more screams and some definately feline 'grumbling'. My friend said that if she had never been aware of the lynx on the property somewhere, she would have been convinced that some sort of monster was approaching. I am unsure as to whether she herself got a chance to see the cat.
Just goes to show that sometimes ordinary animals can produce extraordinary experiences.
Yep, seen a yowie, heard a yowie and been stalked twice by yowies.

Where did you see el chupacabra?
I had a Crypto Experience, but not as in loch ness or anything like that...
i was in these bushe's with someone ( err long story

) and this little black creature just walked up to us

and neither of us had any clue what it was ( i now think it was an escaped guinea pig, since it was not afraid of us at all and just walked right up to us. )
it was fat looking, really black and had a tiny tail...and it was pretty noisey ( as in when it moved ) and it was fast when it wanted to be.
anybody have any ideas what it could have been ?

I have a story well first i back on to bush and it is very hard to walk around there are many rocks and things in there just to tell you
Ok last year my friend came over and it was 4:30 in the afternoon when we went down to the creek down the bush behind my house and it takes about 10mins to get there my friend wanted to follow the creek to see where it goes and soon it started to get dark.Since we are only 12+13 we got scared and then got lost but we heard my mum and folled her voice but on the back we stoped because we heard a noise then we could hear something loud walking around so we walked as fast as we could and the thing got close

But we got near my house we could not hear it ! it was gone .
It was scary

Ever seen a Crypto Critter?
I feel sadness for those who can't... There are so many different species of Crypto's out there to make friends with... You are missing a lot when you've cut yourself from the other 87% that we are... What a Waste of 87% of a life that could have lived... to live lifetime at only 13%...
Heck! People are even photographing Cryptos these days... Those things that look like flying sticks, with spirally undulating wings... called "Rods"... what ever the hell they are... They've even got a pix of a Huge one streaking across the sky... Some are calling them aleans... others claim it's an "area-54" thingy...
I accidentally discovered that one species of those weird, near dimension critters, can actually touch us in our dimensions...
... I was solo camped in deep forest...
Life's greatest experience happened to me that night...
... In the early AM... after dressing, cleanup, and breakfast,
with coffee in hand, I took a stroll into the forest, for an intended long slow walk around this huge 20,000 year old beaver lake...
A hundred feet into the forest, I paused to set my bearings, and to wonder why I was seeing the whole world in TaiChi Bubble clarity... Everything clearer than air... Clearer than vacuum... As if a great veil had been shattered in the night...
While I studied a weed's tiny pale blue flower, as a four-inch diameter spherical liquidy animate aura, I watched Infrared and UV composites flow in and out of each other, flowing, blending, separating, looking like molten metals that mix, but can't mix... liquid light... life plasmas...
While I was trying to separate UV from IR... a bumble bee approached at about 30mph, and suddenly slowed to a hover, 6 inches from the flower that held my focus...
It failed its first landing attempt... slipped right off the flower...
A four inch ball of bright orange sun-colored light floated a couple feet from the bee, four feet from me... My first impression was that it is studying the bee's life... and hadn't seen me there when they arrived at the flower...
We watched the bee try another landing... it slipped off again...
At the third attempt it slipped off... The bee freaked! flew a mishmash of tight circles and rough figure eights, at full throttle... absolutely furious...
We watched the bee's temper tantrum unfold...
In moments the bee settled down, and hovered an inch from the flower... tucked its legs in, then stretched them out, into good landing posture, and landed like a pro... and pushed its way into the tiny flower...
We watched bee wiggling around in the flower, as if were wearing the flower like a tight condom... I bowed to the little floating ball of orange light.. Smiled my best... and went back to studying the bee...
Out came the bee, they flew off together, in the same direction from whence they came... stopped 75 feet away from me, in a clearing, and hovered there a moment...
as if they were having a conversation... Then the lightball vanished,
and appeared, near a tree, twelve feet from me, twelve feet off the ground, to my 8:oclock... hovering... just floating there... looking like a floating little ball of sunlight...
I smiled, and bowed... held out my gentle hand... and waited motionless and quiet...
In the seventh second, the lightball floated toward my hand at approximately 2-mph...
pausing a foot from my hand...
In the seventh second, it moved closer to my hand, enveloping half my fingers, for 14-seconds... I couldn't feel its fine touch...
I just stood there, my mouth agape, and my eyes open wide... my hand held frozen in that position...
Expecting to see wings, I tried to see wings, but couldn't... Just a floating ball of orange light, docked at my fingers... Maybe sucking on my fingers?... Doing who knows what to my fingers?
In the fourteenth second, it broke contact, drifted to twelve feet from me, twelve feet above the ground... hovering in its original spot...
It slowly moved towards me, flew a slow 10-foot diameter circle around me, at shoulder level... paused in front of me for four seconds, vanished, reappearing in no time at 12/12, paused a couple seconds, then vanished, instantly appearing with the bee, still hovering exactly where it had been left alone...
They flew off together, side by side, 10-inches apart, in perfect parallel...
and out of sight...
I stood there quiet, and still, in shock...
I looked up at emerald green glow of sunlight through tree leaves...
I looked down at the lush moss covered rock...
I looked at my feet...
I didn't know what they were, nor what they did...
I just stood there, in somekind of strange "shock"... zero sentience...
staring at the rock covered with moss and bugs... feeling One with the rock...
Maybe I stood there four an hour or two... till my sentience returned...
I even had to teach my legs how to work again...
and that's only the half of it...

I've never seen a cryptid but a few years back in my teens I used to hunt on my parents property, leading onto the edge of the property was a huge pine forest, im talking about hundreds of square kilometers of dense logging industry pines, anyway I ventured rather deep into the pines to snipe of a roo or if I was lucky a wild pig. As it was dusk (always a good time to hunt) the cockatoos are ready to roost in the tree canopys as any australian would know a couple of hundred cockatoos like to make one hell of a noise and being adapt to human presence they don't shy away from a single guy walking 30ft below them with a rifle. So as I continued along a worn animal trail on the forest floor, the noise just suddenly stopped, and I mean everything, birds, crickets, cicadas, everything!
All that was left was the sound of a breeze blowing through the pine needles, very freaky by your self at dusk, only armed with a small calibre rifle. as this silence continued a great sense of urgency came over me to get the hell out of there, call it natural instinct of the human fight or flight, but something told me - be it natures way of letting you know there is something higher in the food chain lurking around the next bend waiting for you - that I shouldn't be there. Turning and hightailing it out of there I cant help but think I saved my ass from something terrible.
Has anyone else had an experience like this?

ok not really a cryptid...
but when i ws about 5 i was running in a field not far from my house near rutland water resevoir and i could swear that a peacock flew out of the field right in front of me, it could of just been a bird, but i never forgot it happening....
are peacocks common in the u.k?

, do they even fly, or can they fly for a bit like chickens?, because i'm sure thats what it did...

The peacock or "Gay Bird" is not indigenous in the UK. They are primarily an Asian bird, although it's not unlikely that a few have been introduced into the British countryside. And yes, they can fly.

all right, check it out. ive had a couple expieriences before but im not the kind of person to deny an explanation if one is presented. i have lived in California all my life but one year in about 1998. in the town of norman ohklahoma there is a park for kids with a giant murky pond right next to it and people play frisby golf all around it. its located like 100 yards from an elementary school called eisenhower elementary.ohklahoma is home to some big wierd critters as you might guess. anyway there is a fence that runs the length of the park on the compleate other side of it all. on the other side of the fence there is a really small pond like one that would be on personal property. one day i hoped the fence to fish in the pond along with four of my friends and my little brother. there in the pond was some pick thing with brown spikes about six inches long on its back. it diving in the water like a snake or something. all around it the water was bubbling like when a school of perch is frightened. wierd, i dont know. check it out for yourself.
