Just curious on how many of you people out there have any and where?

I have 4 tattoos-back,breast,arm and ankle.

And i have 1 piercing(besides my ears)-tongue.


How about you guys???

i have none of either.

my grandfather had tattoos and when i was a kid he sat me down and told me that he hated them. he told me if he could go back in his life, he would have never gotten them and they caused him grief all his life. he told me to never get a tattoo, as i would live to regret it. i took his advice.

piercings.... hmm. i don't like needles and i hate jewelry.

I gots my left ear pierced. Twice.

A buddy of mine pierced his ear himself. Nine times. With a thumbtack. Said he like the "crunch" sound it made.

I have 2 tattoo's, I have a Unicorn on my left arm and a Celtic Dragon on my right arm

I have three skulls on my right arm.........

If any one asks me why I have them I normally say <'cos I'm so wicked >:lol: ' that each skull is a representation of every man that ever really annoyed me............

My Husband has several tattoos but the only one he likes is the one of our old dog . I like that one too .
I have my ears pierced 5 times but nothing else and I am getting a tattoo on my left arm when I find the right person to do it . It's a symbolic one and the plan is to woose out slightly and have it done in pink so that it will fade over time and will blend into my skin before I get too old .

I have the Japanese symbol for 'power' on my left upper arm but don't like it anymore. Want it replaced with something else.

Also I want a nice Celtic/barbed/thorny circular design between my shoulder blades.... yay!

i have 7 tattoos.....tribal design on my right arm ,tribal tiger on my right shoulder blade,small scorpion on my left shoulder blade(my first),wolf head on my left upper arm,bart simpson on skateboard(with my oldest son's name)inside left lower arm,small double hearts right side of my chest and red scorpion on my left side of my chest..piercings ears and eyebrow,,had my left nipple done,but had to take it out after catching it on the door arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

I have four tattoos - all themed around Native American designs. I have an armband on each arm, and on my left upper arm I have a Tomahawk and Spear, whilst on my upper right arm I have a Thunderbird.

I have no regrets about getting them - I have been fascinated with tattoos since I was young. I love the designs and couldn't imagine not having them - they are a part of me now and a symbol of my beliefs. I can't wait for my next one (soon I hope!)

I used to have my left ear pierced twice but stopped wearing earrings several years ago.

If anyone is thinking of getting one make sure you're getting it for the right reasons - that way you will never have to worry about regrets.

I got one tatoo...on my back...around my waist...sorda...and I have my belly peirced..ears peirced three times each....my boyfriend has this dragon tatoo on his arm..and I think I might get one just like his!

i agree with s/ghost......if your going to regret getting a tattoo done then don't do it...but if you regret getting the one you got then you could always cover it up with another you like or similiar......my first.. well i'll probably change it...IT'S NOT BIG ENOUGH lol

I agree a Tattoo last's forever , my father inlaw has his ex-wifes name tattood acroos his nuckles silly man .
I also new a girl who had a cute little Teddy bear tattood on her stomach when she was 16 , got prgnant at17 and didn't have a cute little Teddybear anymore .
An X boyfriend of mine also Tattood my name on his knuckles , that was the first sign he was a loser in my book . I wonder what his wife thinks of that now.
My Tattoo is one that represnts me spiritually where I come from and who I picture my self as . Now I have to find someone who can do a good job of it .

Two piercings in my ears - nothing else yet.

3 piercings so far,2 at left ear,another at the right.Considering getting one at lips (bottom),do have tattoo plans too but currently out of cash....

I have enough scars from accidents and surgery to not worry about piercings or tattoos. My wife wants me to get a tattoo and while I have one in mind, I just found out that my brother-in-law got one very similiar to it very recently. He is covered from his shoulders to his waist, while my other brother-in-law has most of his back covered.
The really sad part is that I was a sailor and had more opportunities than the rest of my family and my wife's family to have many done several times over.

I have pierced my left ear 2 times, and my right ear 3 times. But I only wear 1 ring in each ear. I pierced them myself. No big deal.

I also pierced my belly button, but then I went to Greece and I went swimming before it had healed...... NOT A GOOD IDEA!!!!!!!!!!! It got infected, and I had to remove the ring.. I pierced it myself. Didn't hurt a bit.
But offcourse you have to KNOW what you are doing!!!!!

I have no tatoos, but I have 2 scarifications.
One on my leg, it's a cross. I like it very much.
And one on my arm, that one I HATE!!!! It's REALLY ugly!

I really think tattoos are a mistake, I don't know very many people who have had a tattoo for any length of time that don't regret it.

People change over time, when you are young something that is very important to you isn't always so when you get older. That isn't bad, that is just the way it is. Kids names are one thing, but having chinese characters or some such thing is another.

I read a story a while back where a chinese tattoo artist was fed up with little white kids coming to him for pithy chinese proverbs to be tattood on their bodies. He ended up putting things other than what the people had asked for, as they were unlikely to know the difference. One girl wanted something along the lines of "beautiful princess" or some such thing tattood on her belly below her pierced belly button. The tattoo artist instead put "insert general tsaos chicken here" Not until she noticed she was getting laughed at by the chinese kids at school did she figure out what the tattoo actually said. Lawsuits ensue...

Having a small discreet tattoo someplace is one thing, I have seen folks with some painfully obvious tattoos(hands/arms/neck/face) and thought to myself that they have really condemned themselves to a lower quality of life because they are less likely to get a decent job or be taken seriously in everyday life because of their choice to mark up their body. Permenantly. Tattoos still have a negative stigma to them, like it or not.

I see kids these days getting so many tattoos it is crazy. On the bright side it is possible to invest in companies that are producing the newest generations of lazers that remove tattoos(not perfectly, but close), and they seem to be doing a booming business these days.

I have four tattoos an i got them when i was really young and immature. I got two tattoos on the underside of each forearm and two on each upper arm an i really regret it . I stupidly just thought it was a laugh.

I only like 1 of the tattoos ( celtic rungs by the way).

Trust me wait till your about 20 an your a bit older, then your still young but you really know what you want. BTW am not saying you don't know already but a couple of my mates got em with me when we were 17(which by the way is against the law here and should be clamped down on ) as well an they regret it too.

a tip on tattoos make the most of the colors available now .
I will one day get my celtic arm band with the eagles entwined on my upper arm where I can hide it if I want to and display it if I feel like it however I am getting it done in pink as this is my natural skin tone and as I age the colors will fade and the tattoo will become less obvious , who want's to look like a bikers tart when there picking up the gran kids ? ..

I have 8 tattoos and 10 body piercing 13 in my ears and planning more tattoos and a few more body piercings.

My dads ex-naval and is covered in them - including Pegasus on his back - covers almost his whole back - Thistle'll vouch - think she's seen it! lol

Anyway - I have 2 - 1 lovely cute little blue sea horse on my backside with a pink bow - lovingly gained during a weekend in Blackpool and to condinue the nautical theme i have a dolphin on my shoulder!

I'm thinking of having one at the base of my spine - but keep getting told it'll hurt like stinkers - so gotta pluck up courage and besides you seen the prices recently - gone up some since i had my last one and i aint that old yet! lol

saker................... the base of the spine is sore but the underarm into the armpit is ment to be the sorest part. depends on your pain thersh hold hen. the stomache is bad for cramping.

I'm quite unusual among my friends for the small amount of piercings i have - 7, 3 in each ear and one through my tongue - I don't have any tattoos as i have never yet seen a design i would want perminantly, though i wouldn't rule out the possiblity of getting one in the future.

I had my navel pierced. I took it out cause I am allergic. I can only wear gold and the hole close up I hates expensive allergies, plus I likes the look of silver.

I think I might get a small tattoo someday, but piercings? I'm a firm believer that I'll die with as many holes as I was born with.
