I know it's not really ghosts but of all the places i could have a good discussion on this... i figured it would be here.
One night when I was just about to go to sleep, i checked my closet/bathroom and everything (im 17 and im still a freakin loser that way... whats sadder is a carry my sword with me) anyway.. i made sure everything was fine and my swing was still (yes big wicker swing in my room) ne who, i was lying in my bed and i was slowly falling asleep.. when suddenly i open my eyes only to see a freaking image of a clown sitting in the chair like a metre from my face... smirking at me... i closed my eyes and then jumped up in my bed and opened them... nothing was there but my swing was moving.. call it a hallucination or what... but it was strange to say the least. I was wondering if ne one else had that happen.. or something like it?
Sorry, I don't have a swing in my bedroom.

17 is a very good age for a lot of substance abuse. Which one where you on?

Were you extremly tired that night, cause the mind can play tricks on you. Have you ever experienced anything after that incident?

I now know I'm officially old. I no longer hunt for boogeymen before going to bed.
When I was younger, though, I thought I saw some hands coming out of my closet. At the time, I could swear they were real. I still don't know what they were. I just buried my head under the covers until I fell asleep.
I bet you're scared stiff. Try leaving on a night light (I know, it sounds infantile, but it works) or say prayers before you sleep. If you don't believe in God, try visualizing yourself surrounded in a white light of goodness and love. Sounds like hoaky new age stuff, but it may help.
