I must confess that in the past I've dreaded Valentine's Day... mostly because I always wind up alone (or getting dumped) on that day.

This year, I want to send a special Valentine's Day hug and kiss to Me_Again. I wish I could be online more often to talk with you. I'll be picking up a laptop this summer which will make things easier- especially with the web cam I already have from my old dead machine.

I thought I'd leave my take on Valentines day...

So there's this priest who marries people in secret, because it was illegal... aw... how romantic (sarcasm) So now it's a "holiday" refurbished by card companies and chocolate makers to make single people miserable, and couples feel awesome. But why is it so important to show your love especially on that day? Show your love for everyone on every day! In my opinion it is the worst "holiday" ever.

that's my take on Valentines day.

I find this holiday stupid ! (Even if in Switzerland it's not a holiday). I prefer having someone telling me he loves everyday that one telling it only on Valentin's day.

But has evrey sad and lonely girl, I use to by me some flowers or a little thing. It's very sad I now ! But I don't care ! I love myself so why not !

this is such a dumb holiday...i hate it for the most part... but then again, that might just be because i never have anyone to hang out with on valentines day...its always me calling up friends onlt to find that they have gone out, so i sit at home and go on the computer...some freakin' fun, huh?

they do this thing each year for charity...they give out these forms for a valentine's balloon, you write who's it to and can say who's it from if you want. they'll be given out last class tomorrow..! i already know i'm getting one from my friends...but there's always that lil hope you'll get a surprise one froma secret admirer....always just a lil itsy bitsy shred of hope.......................

Saint Valentines day for some the most romantic day of the year for others the most ridiculous and sneaky 24 hours.

We have to measure the two sides for one you have a day dedicated to love, on the other it's as commercial as Xmas but it feeds off love. It's a reminder for some forgetful lover but it's also a reminder for the depressive loner...soo some bad some good, it's all on how you look at it.

But it's a good thing, without days like that people like me would be jobless.

Imagine all the people without a jobs, all the artists being unable to pay the rent or all the printing specialist left without any "I "heart" you" note to print. I say it's ( in a way) a good thing simply because of the chaines of events that holydays creates.
