Don't know how many time this has been asked before but I seriously need to know how a ghost look like I get mixed messages.
1. People say you can't see them you only feel them. I believe it's only diarrhea.
2. Other say it's the cliche misty see through look. I don't buy this because it's the image associated with ghost and with that in mine I think people are hallucinating.
3. They look like real people standing in front of you. I believe ghost would be more real life looking and people I know who said they have seen a ghost said they looked like a real person standing in front of them. But then again it could be just an imaginary friend. And also when my grandma died I swore I seen her with my own two eyes and healed a stomache I was suffering, but the so call expert's say it happens to everybody when a love one dies.

It could be all of the above.
I prefer to think they do look like regular people. But maybe they are just in energy form, hence the fogs and mists and lights and whatever.
It's such a non-science, there is nothing to go by but eye witness accounts--and you know that won't get you very far in establishing the laws of the paranormal.

First of all, people experience different things, not everyone will see the same thing. Spirits and ghosts can take up many forms. Ghosts are made up of energy first of all and it takes alot of energy to form a full bodied apirition. Most ghosts if captured on film will be seen as orbs or mist. If the memory of that ghost is strong the likely hood of it being a full apirition is probably alot more likely. Some people can't see them, perhaps they are not open enough and will only feel a change in temperature or perhaps a slight nodge or a feeling of being watched. nOt all ghosts want to be sen and those that do will make there pressence known
Ok good points but sometimes this energy can be from someone alive most often like when you turn around and notice a guy is giving you the creeps. But really I can't buy the misty look becuase that is the common percetion of ghost and the most debated beacuse it's not clear evidence on camera and a lot of people can use photoshop these days. I could buy the fact some ghost can be felt but not seen yet it can be your stomach it does give out emotions becuase of all the neurons collected in it.
Again people feel different things, so you can't really say what one person says is wrong unless your going to be skeptical about the whole concept of ghosts. Yes people give off energy, as do spirits, animals, plants etc. Everything is made up of energy.
We know so little of ghosts that is impossible to say what they look like with any degree of certainty. We only have anecdotal evidence, admittedly quite a lot of it, but it all varies a great deal, from story to story.
What i can tell you is that 99.9% of the photographes on the net are fakes or are of something else, usually dust or insects caught in the flash in the case of Orbs.
Until we understand what ghost actually are and what causes them we will not be able to do much more than conjecture on this subject
