....Yo many people have heard of time travel yet nobody has read Albet.E's book on it...well actully on science itself...Ok lets start this off strong DAMNIT TIME TRAVEL IS REAL!!...now that that's over with lets begin...

Now as we all know while running time slow's down. Now all you would have to do to travel foward in time is this...
1. By some miracle build some type of machine able to spin at approxamitly 10.000 Mph.s... If you could find away to have sumthing like that spin that fast and be able to somhow make it where a human body can survive the preasure of that...well and not starve ok your going to be inside this spiny thing and you yourself R going to be spinning maybe frozen so tight ya eyelashes cant fall off...idk maybe since it is spining so fast you wont notice like the earth....anyway if you can figur out how to live threw 10 years of that you will indeed go 100,000 years into the future....and only aging 10 years..nota bad deal...actully you will be going out 1000 years not ahunred thousand....well there ya go it would be easy if ya could do it....Hit me up.....Well build that or master Chronokenetic!

You're saying that time travel is real, based on THIS?
Jesus. Well good luck on that.

And since when did running slow time down!? That's ridiculous.

Nope, thats physics. According to the theory of relativity and all that, the faster you move, the more time slows down for you... so yes, by running, you slow time down for yourself... but not by much.
I cant tell you much more than that... other than gravity also plays a role. the stronger the gravity, the more time slows down IIRC... which seems to have been proven with atomic clocks.

Time is supposed to slow down during motion. I'm at a complete loss as to how to get around that one. Doesn't make any sense at all.

All I can say is goodluck!... and does that state 10.000 or 10,000?

first a little background info
it is theorized that everything in the universe has the same amount of energy as well as travels at light speed, the only reason me, you, lamborghini's, ect dont appear to travel at light speed is because we are sharing our energy with all of the 3 spacial dimensions AND the 1 time dimension, light and gravity are massless alowing them to travel in only the time dimension, because they only travel in the time dimension they are able to use all of there energy in that 1 dimension, this is why we observe light at its speed and also why we can never achieve light speed, (because we have mass we will always be stuck in the 3 spacial dimensions as well as the time, even if we put most of our energy into the time dimension we will still have our mass stuck in the spacial ones-and you can not travel at light speed unless ALL energy is in the time dimension)
okay now that i explained that (hopefully everyone got what i was saying) this should make more sense
assume everyone has 60 units of energy
when you walk to the end of your block it takes 15 mins
15 units of energy are in the length dimension
15 units of energy are in the height dimension
15 units of energy are in the depth dimension
and 15 units of energy are in the time dimension
those 15 units in the time dimension will be equivalent to the time it takes to get to the end of the block
now, when you run to the end of your block it takes 5 mins, because you are traveling faster (using more energy) in the 3 spacial dimensions
the time dimension will lose energy, because remember energy can neither be created nor destroyed
18.33 units of energy are now in the length dimension
18.33 units of energy are now in the height dimension
18.33 units of energy are now in the depth dimension
and now there is only 5 units of energy left for the time dimension
those 5 units in the time dimension will now be equivalent to the time it takes to get to the end of the block
so in conclusion the faster you move, the more energy you use, and the more energy you use in one dimension will take the equivilent from the time dimension, if the time dimension has no energy, then there is no time for that object, the faster something travels the slower time flows
i hope that made sense, any questions feel free to ask, i know im not the best at explaining things

this is also why i believe running is healthy for you, over the years all the time you've spent running has shortend the actual age of your body relative to everything else on earth

FireSage,
What you’re talking about is called time dilation, not time travel. Although it is a form of time travel in a sense, it’s still going forward in time, only at a different rate.
You should do a search on
time dilation, as it will explain in greater detail what you're talking about

So if i ran non stop for 50 years, i will actually be younger than if i walked non stop for 50 years? While everyone else around me would have aged at the same rate?

When they made us run track in high school, time really did seem to slow down. Painfully slow.

Ummm, not really. Although running instead of walking may decrease the aging a few nano seconds over your life, those around you as they go about their life are driving cars and flying and stuff like that. In the end, it all balances out

Well.....i admit i dont know much about time

lol my name is firesage not TimeTraveler....i admit im new as hell and saw the Forum for time and took a chance...lol i am Pyrokenetic not a scientist...But about running around makes you age slower...i really dont think that is true...how could it be? If the earth spins as fast as it does your meeslee 10 mph's isnt nuthin...it probably makes the earth go slower lol....and if it is true....what if ya ran across the moon using like heavy boots so you wont float would it make you older because of the less gravity?

Running is healthy in short terms....after a while you will kill your body doing it...

Less gravity means that time goes faster for you, IIRC. So that means, if you went to the moon for a day, yes, you'd come back "older"... but its so minute you wouldnt even notice.

I though that in order to time travel, which wouldn't work, but would actually send you into another dimension, all you had to do is go faster then the speed of gravity of the planet you are on. That's faster then the speed of light, but less then the 10,000 mph that was mentioned.
