Now I loved the books and was told about this by KC and MM.. am really looking forward to seeing the Film in May on the Scifi Channel.... here's a link to the US website that gives a little more insight.....
I thought it was a good movie, Celti, but it did leave me with a couple of questions. It also begs for a sequal. I look forward to what you think of it.

That was a great idea CW, checking out the website. Did you notice the new movie about crop circles? It's called 'Silent Warnings'. Wow, a good sci-fi movie with Billy Zane
(btw, really nice avatar and signatures)

Yeay, KC, 'Silent Warnings' looks like a takeoff of 'Signs', hopefully it will have a better storyline to it. Looking forward to seeing it either way, though.
Also happened to notice that they have a 'Battlestar Galactica' mini-series slated for late this year, wonder what that will be like.

Hey, MM, I have a feeling 'SW' might be like 'Signs' too, but with BZ in it, I don't think I'll be comparing.

Alba, I just found the coolest BILLY ZANE website ~ lots of pictures too!
Old Billy boy looked awfully uncomfortable in 'Silent Warnings', the movie was really terrible.
There was one bright spot though, the Sci-Fi channel showed promo's of a new series called the Deathlands. I was a huge fan of the books written by James Axler, a couple years ago, and am looking forward to seeing the series on television. The books had an episodic, thrilling adventure theme to them with great character development and an interesting and captivating story line. The preview looked promising, I'm hoping it can make the grade.

CW, can you tell who I was thinking about today? I like that the site had lots of pics of him from "Cleopatra", he looked so good in that movie.
But it was a shame he chose to be in 'Silent Warnings' like you said MM, it was awful.
I did catch a glimpse of 'Deathlands', but I'd never heard of if before. It's amazing how much new stuff the SCI-FI channel has been showing.

KC,
Here's a link to the website devoted to the books. CLICK HERE It will help give you an idea what its all about. I also have to mention that it isn't a TV series as I first thought, it's just a movie. Darn
Edit: Opps, fixed the link, sorry.

Thanks MM, so they're going to put everything into a 2 hour movie? That should be interesting.

No hun, just the original concept that was begun in the first book, which is entitled 'Homeward Bound'. I goofed. Still should make for a good movie though, the first book was terrific.
