He was rather popular in the 70's and had quite a following.

There are several folks that have come out to duplicate his favorite trick such as spoon bending; it is just that: a trick.

There are still quite a few people that take him seriously; although I am not one of them...

I have been to that site, he has stuff about psiwheels so he might be real, but I'm not saying that i take him seroiusly, as he tried to open staduim doors with telekinesis, It would take 1000 lifetimes full of tk practice so to do that with telekinesis, maybe a little less i dunno

Uri Geller was tested extensively by Russel Targ and Harold Putthoff, who worked out the scientific evidence, that remote viewing exists. Their 70ies book "Everyone owns the sixth sense" (direct translation from the german release-title) reports the many of the controlled and spontanous phenomena Uri is able to provoke!

I have no doubt that Uri Gellar is real, I also have no doubt that he is not all that and a bag of crisps when it comes to his so called psyhcic powers and bizzare ideas.

he was on sky 1 last month in vienna and i have to say he come over very well . The program was about ghosts and hauntings (normally i cant stick the guy)
