No, not transformers...they were cooler. I remember those, too. But I can't remember what they're called...oh well.

i had "Mechanix"... they had little tools, and you could put new wheels on the cars, and wings and boat things... it was cool

No, they were kinda like transformers, but they didn't go from beast to car. They were like beast cars that had moving parts (IE moving mouth) but were also cars.
