Everyone's furry friend is

Here is a picture of my kitty Glorie Girl. Her bio is she was found under a house with two kittens and taken to the local humane society, which is where I adopted her. After she first got there, she was fostered out to nurse a litter of orphaned kittens. When she returned to the shelter, both of her own babies had been adopted.

They say she meowed and cried for them every day for a long time.
She was sick from the spray they put up a cat's nose at the shelter when they first arrive (which usually causes a virus for them) and was full of fur knots from not being brushed. I got all that straightened out once I brought her home, and she has been a wonderful companion ever since! Her favorite thing is to be brushed, as often as possible! She is a combination of Siamese, Ragdoll and Norwegian Hunter. She has very blue eyes, which don't show up well in the picture.

This cat was feral, probably abandoned, and came into the house with my kitty one day several years ago. He was emaciated and had an abcessed tail. I fed him and took him to the doctor and he settled in very well with us. I named him Striper, and later when I had to move and could only take one cat with me, I gave him to my married son, but he ran away the first night (the cat, not my son

) Striper was a gentleman kitty and kept "banker's hours". He was truly a pleasure to have as a member of the family. He gained so much weight that I was thinking of changing his name to Mr. Chubbs! Then his weight leveled out and he was very healthy and happy.

I still miss him and sometimes he visits me in my dreams.
