I didn't see a topic on this, so I thought I'd express my feelings towards this. As most of you know, I usually don't like MMORPG's....take Runescape for instance. Anyway, Huestifer downloaded a cracked version and I've been playing on a LAN server, sadly that's all I can do. Although a few of my freinds can join up and stuff it's still REALLY fun. The graphics are amazing, I have like everything toned down for better preformance and It still looks great! To see the world or Warcraft made into this is amazing...think the size of GTA:SA time about 10, at like a hundreth of the time it take to load. The characters are awesome, too. I've got myself a level 5 Night Elf Hunter
Anyway, when I actually get some money I'm gonna go buy it online....that was I can actually play with other people

The only reason I didn't buy it is because I thought you HAD to buy the subscription card in order to play the game. You don't do you?

Yeah, My friend has a bootleg server running. You just have to change a couple of files to the hosts IP address. But, there's one problem, because it's a bootleg server there's a lot missing from the game. Probably about 50% of the game, actually. But when I get the money I will be buying it. I mean, if I can love it with like half of it missing...imagine how much i'll love it with none of it missing!

Damn man, your makin' me want to buy one. Your love for the game is contagious man. Haha I gotta get one now. I'll get money back from the government once I file my Income Tax Return. Oooh money.

Too bad you have to subscribe in order to play online with lots of other people.

never played any MMORPGs. sounds fun though. the only online game i play is Counterstrike, which is addicting like whoa.

I have WoW and it is absolutely awesome, I am completely addicted, I get out of work-I go home- I play WoW until 2am, sleep until 9 go to work for 10. Thats pretty much my day. Oh yeah I have a wife in there too that nags me to do dishes, and clean and stuff too.

I finally bought WoW. I was excited to play but I forgot that you had to pay! Now I have WoW sitting on my computer for now, until I buy that subscription card. I don't have a credit card yet! Ah well. I can be dumb sometimes

Its a great game. I have a lvl 53 Shaman.

I need a refund for today (March 22nd). I've been waiting for my realm to get back (Lothar). The realm status shows it's online but it's not even up, nor is it on the realm list.

It is a great game but seriously these bugs are annoying me to hell. Am I paying for messed up servers? I hope this ends by tomorrow.

lvl 60 tauren-HORDE, if you know the history of warcraft you will realize that the alliance races have no history, horde is where its at (druid, most fun class) and have the best equip in the game, cept for the 40-man raid gear

I bought the game 1 or 2 months ago and i still cant play it cos i need the pre-paid game card (i'll get one in a month happily), but when i start i will begin with a Undead rogue(i'll try enginering, mining , cooking and fishing to support this one), or a nightelf hunter. i've been waiting to get my hands on this game for years, i can barely wait to start!!

well im thinking of going tauren hunter or shaman. I was originally thinking of going to be one of the alliance race but majority of beginners become them too much..all of my friends atm are in high level hordes severs..

By the way... why are u starting in a PvP server?? normaly ppl only go to that kind of servers after playing in a PvE wich means that they have much more experience then u.

is mad im a 34 warlock now PvP is where the action is at, i went to it becuase all my freinds is there plus who wants to play against the environment? u crazy if you think thats gonna be fun. Ofcourse ur gonna get omned in the early 20s but u learn and now is freaken awsome..

also Dowdy Warlocks are heaps fun they gonna be heaps mad now with the new patches....

i have friends that also play in PvE and it's fun and good for begginers,and i do have to agree with u, the PvP is much more fun, but the PvE is also good, u can participate in mass raids against bosses like for example onyxia, molten core and the blackwing dungeon, do u know for example that onyxia is level 500 dragon, i remember to see beta images where onyxia was standing before dozens of corpses still with 95% life, it's really cool when this massive raids hapen.
By the way : is it possible to make raids against bosses in PvP?

EDITED:yeah, warlocks are cool, i heard that the last summon that they can made needs a sacrifice, is that true?do u know what is the name of that Demon that they summon?

its cool, well they all the same is just that pvp u can go raid each others town and kill other playeres. The boss raid u talkin about is call battleground is the same for all mode. Also if u kill alot of players u move up the ranking that opens up for more items and weapons, i just made rank 1 btw.

As for the last summon, its the big infernal...the big green rock looking thing

maybe i shall only start playing in a week or so and all because fnac monopolized the pre-paid game cards, and the closest fnac in my region is is something like 50 kms away from my home and i dont know in wich side of the each city it is, also i'm not familiar to those citys and my mail adress seems to be wrong (or they're so stupid that they sent it to another part of the country cos the villa where i live as the same name as another much more famous villa in the south of the country).

I'm just pissed, shouldnt it be forbiden to a company to monopolize the sales of one certain item in a whole country?

Hey all I was just wondering if anybody on the site owns World of Warcraft ? I was thinking of buying it, and I just wanted to know how good it is. I have seen screenshots and heard good reviews, but im just not sure.

P.S. How many characters can you make on one CD?

I own it; it rocks Haven't had much time to play it lately, though. You can make an unlimited number of characters as long as you don't have an alliance and a horde character on the same server.

I haven't played it, but one of my co-workers is completely obsessed with it right now.

What?!? I cant make an Alliance guy AND a Horde guy? So, if I was to make a dwarf, I wouldn't be allowed to make ANY Horde members?

You can make a dwarf and a horde character, just not both on the same server. You are allowed access to all the servers and you can make an unlimited number of characters of a certain faction on *that* server. I think on the Kilrogg server I got 3 alliance characters and on some Black-something-or other server I have 3 horde characters. There are a ton of servers. Most of the players have multiple characters, some alliance, some horde. But, yup, no "double-agents" on any of the servers.

So its 15 bucks a month, is it any cheaper to buy the cards for more months at future shop? Or whereever?

I'm not sure... I never looked into the cards. I always just paid the 15 a month.

Can Hunters get any mount? Because I saw a screenshot (on the official site) of an Alliance member riding a raptor, so I was thinking that it was the work of a hunter (as they can tame any enemy animal).

No, I'm thinking that was probably a troll hunter you saw on the raptor. Hunters can't mount everything, unfortunately The mount available depends on the race you choose.

Hmm coulda swore it wasn't a troll orc or undead. I know that orcs and undead can get them too but they need some reputation. Do YOU have to be level 40 to ride the mounts, or is it just the mounts themselves that are level 40?

Your character needs to be level 40 to get a mount. Now, if it was an alliance character running around on a raptor, I haven't seen that, but I haven't had a chance to play a whole lot lately. They might have changed it and made new mounts available, as well. They tweak that game constantly. You should defiantly check it out

I really like MMORPGs, and in the store today, one caught my eye. World of warcraft looks ACE, but can anyone tell me, is it good? I am thinking of getting the 40 day trial, buts thats twice as much

yep great, i play on the roleplaying servers Argent Dawn and Earthen Ring for that bit of extra depth....its good and well supported, patches change and balance characters all the time and add new content...depending on what you want from the game you can choose to play on a pvp server (player versus player cannot switch off the chance to be attack by the enemy faction), pve and rp servers (which allow you to toggle player versus player on and off)

the first mmorpg ive played i got a 60 day subscription back in May and just renewed it.

Definately recommend you try it out.

that's the game i'm addicted to at the moment. it's so far the best one out at the moment for that kinda game. i have a 60 paladin on ner'zhul...fun game..but you have to be a social type of person to advance in the game...they designed it where in order for you to get high level items, you must run dungeons with other players....it's not a game you can solo unlike ultima online.

I've been playing it for the last 2 1/2 months and that really the only game i've been playing. There's so much things you can do in the game, it'll keep you occupied for ages. Battlegrounds is great. I have a level 30 Warlock in Dragonblight
