It was late one afternoon; probably about 5 or 6, when I was walking through my hallway. As I got closer to the bathroom, I clearly saw a boy walk across me into the bathroom. The bathroom is right across my room, by the way. I quickly assumed that it was my nephew coming out of my room. I suddenly knew something wasn't right here, because there was nobody in the bathroom. I looked into my bedroom and there was my nephew playing videogames. I asked him if he was just outside my room a second ago, but he said that he has been in my room the whole time. It makes a lot of sense, because I only saw the boy walk out of my room, but not back.

Also, something similiar happened yesterday. As I was driving down a hill, I saw a man duck down between two cars. Out of curiosity, I looked to see what he was doing, but he was nowhere in sight. Not inside nor outside a car; not a few feet away in one of the patios; not under a car; nowhere!

I saw these with my own two eyes and not just some "out of the corner of my eye" crap.

FWIW, I've twice seen what I took to be real people until they disappeared in an impossible manner.

In college I followed a girl in a blue bathrobe into a shower room that had no other door, only to find it empty. Then several years ago I was looking at a shelf of books in an old hotel that had been converted into a used bookstore when someone walked past behind me towards the dead-end area of the hall. I turned around to ask them a question (I thought it was the girl who worked there) and I was alone. I later found out that the hotel was considered haunted, especially the area I was in at the time.

Ever since then, I've figured that probably more people see ghosts than ever realize it, because those two both looked so real and so normal.

Well, I've 'lost' people I'm walking beside, in a crowd, so easily and so completely that it would appear that they vanished, when in fact they were just behind a larger person/lampost/etc.

In this case, you mention that you had a young child in his room, and you saw a young child walking in the hall whom you mistook to be the other. Now, perhaps you did not, in fact, 'see' this other child; perhaps you remembered seeing your nephew enter the bathroom another time and your mind suddenly 'reconstructed' it, because you were thinking about him in his room.

As per the man, could he have been bent over on the passenger side, checking tire pressure? Or could he have walked away while you had your eyes on the road? I hope you did geek.gif .

He probably was on the other side. He probably was one really fast dude. I didn't even dee the top of his head. He probably shrank!!
