As for the "slaves" rebelling, this is why I don't have slaves, I have ranks. A ranking system tends to have a higher success rate as opposed to a slave system.
This is mainly because people with ranks get payed, they aren't forced into labor and can leave/enter at almost any time. Slaves, on the other hand, are forced to do biddings, forced to fight, forced to bow down before their kings. This is why I like ranking systems
