exiting a diablo2 battle.net game takes literally 45-60 seconds of black screen before i can go back to the chat room. by then the chaos run is already full. Its never done this before and the chat room page has loaded within 2-6 seconds usually. whats goin on?

Diablo 2 sucks. Blizzard has soo many better games out there. I can't wait for them to shut down the servers. Battle.net needs as much space as possible.

I didn't bother to keep playing Diablo II. The graphics in the first Diablo is way better. How the hell is that possible?
I don't see why there should be as much lag as you say. Hmm, I'll start Diablo 2 and see where your problem is coming from. I'm no expert but I'll see what I can do.

Ive had a lot of lag lately as well, although I'm playing on USWEST. Just started again cause I was wicked bored and tired of playing FPS's, and also don't want to get addicted as hell to WoW... I'm just waitin for guildwars to come out, it'll be sweet. It's made from people who made diablo(original), and I think starcraft - they were ex blizzard workers who decided to start their own company.

Then the problem might be your computer. Maybe your computer can't handle Diablo 2. Look at the box for the specifications. Check if your computer is suitable for it.

O yeah and for the problem, try reducing your screen size during game play. thats might help
