Apocalyptic Cryptid
maybe since groups of people were separated onto different continents.... a few people mutated for no reason and then bred with other people and spread the gene so now that people are able to move from land mass to land mass people are getting intermingled

well if you are a Catholic innocent.gif like me the ( i think its the Bible) the Bible says that there was a group of people wanting to make a tower high enough to reach God and God destroyed the tower...again they tried to build it that made God angry angry.gif so he destroyed it and gave them all different languages so that they wouldnt be able to make the tower again hence the name "The Tower of Babble"

Your story is right... except for the name. The tower is called the tower of Babel, not babble.

I am certain you all would like to believe that the first race might have been right, but I can simplify this whole discussion.

Its called atmosphere, and it effects everything from climate, to how you grow.
Take the US for example, which is my homeland. I have been moving around all my life, and since most americans are a mix, they tend to each family having its own unique features accordting to that mix.

BUT...
I have noticed that in areas with different climates, people tend to look the same, in the way they grow, and how their body is structured. People from just one state over look different, you can try saying it has to do with what blood colonizes the place, but its atmosphere, enviroment and climate. They can look different just being a thousand feet higher than sealevel than where you live. Oklahomans, tend to get squintyeyed later in life, and have more of a "block" structure to their bodies, for lack of a better word. The skinny ones are always notoriously skinny, and its real easy to recognize(for me) when someone was not raised in the state, nothing to do with the way they dress or their accent, though that can help, but more to do with the way they look. I can tell when your from out of state, by just looking at how your head is shaped, and oyur facial bone structure.

Now how does this relate? well, take "black" people for example. They originally came from parts of africa, and some even from other parts of the world. But mainly from africa, a zone where there are alot of thin areas and even huge geometric holes in the ozone layers. Now in order to compensate for increased radiation levels, a civilization would have to adapt, their skin would have to reach an adaptive level of dark extremes, in order to lessen the damage caused by the radiation waves. simple adaptation my friends.

Now lets look at People of asian origin, they would be living under sunlight, but not in such extreme levels for thousands of years, bringing their skins natural tendency to tan, their slanted eyes and features another adaptation due to climate, atmosphere and other enviromental conditions. Like I said, you look like where your from, these extreme looks evolve from a civilization building over a thousand years or more in the same general area. why can they be so short you ask? thousands of years of possible malnourishment, plus less growth hormones in their cows, thus less in the milk. Unlike here in america, where they dose them up with growth steroids like a blemp with hydrogen.

Now lets take a look at "white people" europeans who came from areas where there is lots of mist, fog clouds and rain, now some say that whites with the blond hair blue eyes are actually started out as Mongols who had extreme recessiveness in their genes(up yours white supremists! you are defective darkskinners thumbsup.gif )
But, it could also be due to areas of high climate, in the northern areas, with lots of cloudy days,(highlands) and a nice thick ozone layer. Which is why they sunburn so easily cool.gif

I think if you go out of country or state, you will see what I mean. India has a different climate and area to pakistan, and thats why at least for me it is easy to tell a man from India apart from a man from Pakistan.

What about native americans you ask? well, thats simple, it was proven already that long before the Vikings or Columbus, chinese immigrants came to america, about a thousand or more years prior. you dont believe they came without their wives do ya? Add some climate change, and a few other thing enviromentally, and there you have it.

There we go, a theory with a scientific and realistic viewpoint, without silly recomendations towards the Tower of Babel(thats how we developed languages silly)

The species Homo Sapien Sapien originated not in Africa as the establishment insists... It started in Antarctica when it was green and lush. The evidence will be found quite soon as the thick ice of the polar cap recedes. Our ancestors travelled through Australia and South America to inhabit the Northern Hemisphere over time. You might think I'm crazy, but you'll see!!! thumbsup.gif

Question that I asked in another thread...

"Will mankind evolve to match his technology, rather than his environment?" Give a couple countries as examples: England, U.S.A., France, Germany, Russia, Japan...and others are just joining this relatively new "modern" way of life...

In the U.S. for example. Most live with the relatively common things now, Air Conditioning, Heat, and a roof over their heads...Will this mean that they will change to match their new environments, the interior of their homes? More time is spent on the internet or in front of a TV, and less time interacting with other persons. What will we look like in 1,000 years from now if we continue to shut ourselves in and sit in front of our TVs and Computers? Having food, furnature, and other living accessories, delivered to us...

It's not really a question is it? Mankind WILL evolve to his technology, for we have mastered the environment (or so we think no.gif ). No longer does mankind need to evolve to his natural surroundings. If the sun hurts our eyes, we wear sunglasses. If the tempurature is too hot, we turn on the Air Conditioner. If too cold, the heat. We get hungry, we order pizza, or venture out in an Air Conditioned and Heated vehicle, to a resuraunt with Heat and Air Conditioning. It's a strange thing indeed.

Perhaps in 1,000 years from now we will begin to see differences in ourselves because of our technology. We will look back to now, and see an "unevolved" creature? Our skin will get lighter, for we block the sun's rays. Our muscles weaker, for we sit more than we stand. Our minds smarter, for we are not worried about food and other things that our ancestors worried about. We will become less personal indeed.

This would hold sway with any people(s) who would have this way of life for an extended period of time. White, Black, Yellow, Red, whatever it may be...

Quote:
"We have arrived at a point where our technology has surpassed our humanity. Maybe one day we will arrive back at a point where our humanity holds challenges for all of us. But for now, we are content to build larger buildings, or stretch our hands into the universe. While we forget our Mother Nature and everything she has done for us. The Future is certain. Mankind is not.

So we'll just be..plain?

I mean with the whole 'relatively same conditions everywhere we find ourselves' concept..

Will it be too taxing on our bodies to venture outside of the temperatures and conditions the body will have lived in it's whole life?

I think we will keep evolving too as our races merge into one. Anglos, Asians, Black, and....uh....me...wherever I fit in in that. Hmmmmm.....what would such and evolved mix look like in a million years of evolution? Technology would make us smaller as we need to use our muscles less....our brains would grow, so our heads would be bigger. Hair would be unnesesary as we control our climate. And if you mix all the colors of mankind together you get......GREY!

OH< MY GODDESS! WE ARE GOING TO BECOME GREYS!!!!!!

PEOPLE OF THE MILKY WAY GUARD YOUR RECTUMS! EARTH PROBES ARE COMING!!!!!!

NAtional Geographic channel has an interesting documentary about the origins, it'll be on later today. It turns out that homo sapiens didn't evolve as a single spieces, we all know about neanderthals and cromagnons but there were dosens of humanoid species which existed simultaneously. All but our ancestors went extinct but perhaps there was some degree of mixing and that may have provided a large enough gene pool to give us this amazing adaptibility

I thought it was an interesting angle original.gif
