I want to hear feedback on the best sequel(in my opinion)since final fantasy vi and vii!

The game is really good....Up until the end, where they cut much of the game storyline finalisation, and gave you a very weak ending......

The missing data was still included in the game, obviously they didn't remove it, just made it unavailable in the game, and believe me in its entirity it was much better....

i finally played it *(casue im a pc user) and the way it ended i tihnk it's going to make into the 3rd installment of kotor.

Aaack. I love the game to death and all. But the ending nearly killed me.
They don't explain crap.
1. What happens to the Ebon Hawk? it just kinda poofed into the clouds.
2. Do you go back and activate the Mass Shadow Generator? And if you do, how do you get off the planet?
Rawr, it just pisses me off.

Game had better features, but the storyline was terrible in the second one.

Hopefully Bioware will be in charge of the third one.

Im about 3 hours into it at the mo.Im enjoying it but arent as engrossed as the first one.Too much opening airlocks and stuff.

i got the first game and its pretty fun, some people tell me kotor 2 is good and some people tell me it sucks, i donno if ill buy it or not yet

They did, Just a lot of stuff got left on the cutting board. Like the HK factory, I would've liked ot have seen that.

No, Microsoft deadlined the game before completion and too much stuff was left out.

Actually they completed the game and took it back to those with influence who were in charge, and they were asked to remove things which they believed weren't in the games best interests. This according to someone who worked for obsidian.. or whatever its called...

Mine was Kreia and Handmaiden. Once handmaiden was a jedi, i gave her freedon nadd's lightsaber, and after that, everything was a ok

ok i bought this game not so long ago, i'd wanted it since it was released but waited to buy it, i must admit i do love the game, and i love the new stuff thats been added, except all the armour/item upgrades and so many things can be upgraded, i liked in the first one that only certain special items could be upgraded

best bits for me have been preparing and defending the base at dantooine (lightside)

attacking the royal palace on onderon shooting down fighters, fighting my way up the sky ramp (darkside)

stopping the sith attack on the citadel station/telos (darkside/lightside)

theres more, but i can't put everything...

i've completed the game on lightside and i'm very close to beating the game darkside now

the characters i've used most often have been visas and the handmaiden(shes much better when turned to a jedi though)

Don't beat the game Darkside. It's horibble. Instead of getting your explanations, you just kick her over a ledge. Sorry to ruin it, but i don't want you to get false hope and think it's better.

I beat the game somewhere around 12 times. i Know, i played it way to much. i got ubsessed many a time but you do more and more each time. turn every one to a jedi, have hk47 tell you how to kill jedi, pick a pristige class, make a realy good saber, lv up to 50. it all takes a long while.

It's a great explanation as to where I have been in the past days.

That or Jade Empire.

very good game. light side but didn't get to far yet. only complaint is that some enemies are hard as hell for a JEDI to kill?????

HELP!!!! im stuck in telos!!!! this one woman wants me to meet some bounty hunters in the residential area, and the bounty hunters want me to go there alone. now, when i try to leave my teammates in another area with solo mode on, THEY REAPPEAR RIGHT NEXT TO ME, AND SOLO MODE IS TURNED OFF!!! any advice?

other wise, my light side character is trying to kill kreia in one of the alst fights(i think)

EDIT: nvmd, i figured it out all you gotta do is remove them from your party in the party menu

yes the solution was very simple, thus i didn't tell you what to do, i thought i'd let you figure it out for yourself

i deleted all my completed games and started again, going through on lightside again, i have just made atton and handmaiden jedi's

just curious anyone else think its so easy to get your stats boosted very high, with equipment and what not, it wasn't like that in the first game...

Yeah. Did anyone have a surplus of lightsabres? I heard ppl complaining, but i had enough for everybody's two ahnds and then some.

I prefer the second one, however the ending on number one is far better....

The first is better if you want a sastifying ending(and plot twist............)

The second is better if you want a good storyliine overall, and you don't care about the ending.

And the gameplay? Which game is better?

Kotor 2 by far.

i always prefer to beat the game on lightside, darkside just isn't as fun for me, the character just seems rude and childish in what he says as darkside....

I beat it as lightside then darkside. Very fun game, took about 60hrs I think in total to beat both (good ol xfire). I always felt bad being mean to the little driod though as darkside..he was just so cute.

I loved it though, hope theres a 3rd one!

i can see there being a third game, i imagine it would be best if they waited until the xbox 360 cam out and release a new kotor on that

Ive heard KOTOR3 was planned to be released with two gameplay disks! Course, that's probably just a load of bull... All I know is I spent 100+ hrs on each game and LOVE them both. The third WILL be a jedi going into the outter rim in search of Revan and the Exile, and the strong winded rumor is you can use characters from both the first and second game...

Bioware error: In KOTOR, if you play as a dark-side female, you can kill Carth Onasi... But he's in KOTOR2 regardless... Why? Whyyyy?! :'(

what last bit is not an error, it depends on what you tell atton about revan after you free him from prison at the start

as atton says revan ruined the republic, but you can say that revan saved it, and atton says revan was a female, but you can say, but i thought reevan was a male, if you say that revan ruined the republic and was a female, carth is not in the game, theres someone else as admiral or whatever

Being neutral cuts down a lot on your options...certain character relationships are only possible if you have a strong affinity for either the light or the dark side. I'm not sure....but I also think you can only select a prestige class if you're strongly one way or the other too (I've always been towards one side of the spectrum by lv15 though, so I can't confirm that...read it online somewhere though).

this game sucked. if you want a good RPG get jade empire. im named after one of the characters !
