I was getting a little claustrophobic there for a while, you seemed to have all my pieces hemmed in at one side and it was difficult to find an escape route.

I was one move away from checkmating Saru for about 4 moves before i actually saw it. By then, he saw it too. DAMN!!

I was trying to move the horse into checking the king, having it already pinned with the queen and diagonally moving dude. Didn't realise i could have just moved the queen, since it would have been protected by the dude.

Oh well.

I was really trying to trap it in there with my pawns so there would be no escape.

i dont know how i get myself into those types of situations but they sure are nerve racking--i tend to send her out to try and disrupt the opponent from setting up a solid defense but it has been backfiring in this tourney maybe not such a good idea?
