The last match finished was almost a month ago, but lots of people still have lots of games to finish.

I noticed that as well, but then I looked at the scores and I know why. Barring Barman (who's on holiday) there is actually nobody who has a feasble chance of getting into the top 3, they just have to many loses/draws. Personally I would fight it out for 4th place, but I think those who have actually finished all their games are the real Die-hard chess fans.

You've improved though, thats the last two games you've worryed me. First game you took advantage early, you just didn't see my threat until it was too late, but the second game... seriously I thought I was done until I got my bishop to annoy you're queen.

He's quite good, but I'd be careful, I got info from a source who will remain unnamed that he challenged someone to an edited game were he gave himself nothing by Queens. It could have been a joke, but it could well be he's a bad sport and hoped to trick this person into giving him an easy win after the first few moves had been made and it was to late to cancel.
So challenge him if you want, but be careful if he asks for a rematch.

Really annoying. I check Hyole chess again just in case, but still can't get access to it.

Its taken over a months (since he's now moving once every 24 hours) but I'm sure its now checkmate in 5 (checkmate in 1 if he doesn't check me in the next move)
