Look you guys, this whole time you have been asking to hear my stories i have been at school. And it takes a long time to tell all my experiences. So i am gonna give a briefing of my sightings...
1. Saw a horselike head,like a camel,was a black/green color.About 100 feet out,just saw it's head,no humps.I am sure it wasn't a log.Head eventually went underwater leaving a somewhat large ripple
2. Same appearance as #1,but a little closer,about 75 feet away,more clear.
3. Same head,a little more seaweed green color, 2 humps, was on the surface for about 2 minutes before submerging leaving large ripples.about 80 feet away.
4. Didn't see much of a head.2 humps.Very dark long serpent underwater.About 60 feet away.Stayed on the surface for about 10 minutes.
Note: All 4 sightings were on sunny, blue sky days.On Occassion # 1,2,and 4 other people on the beach were watching.Very noticeable creature.

I happen to agree with Richdog. And what makes him to Ogopogo king can easily be done with a google search engine, thats all... hardly the ogopogo king and not worth the worship. And if you don't mind telling me what 'work' your interested in cause all I see are just a bunch of pictures that keep resurfacing in the same old (but new) threads over and over again (Which really dosen't do justice when you include the words MORE PICS, or NEW PICTURE when it isn't the truth).

Look guys, I am new here but have been a visitor for quite some time... isn't the object of these forums to have an open mind and share experiences as well as opinions, jealousy and calling people names is not acceptable, however we are going to get the odd moron that has more stories than Hans Christian Anderson but between us we can tell the crap from the good. As far as I am concerned and this is my opinion, CR has more eye witness sightings than any one else so we listen to him and learn from him... my only question to CR is "If I had witnessed ogopogo in once a year in the last 4 years.... Why did you not have a camera with you??? if I saw Ogo in 2000, then again 2001 and then 2002.... surely when you were planning your next trip you must have thought about a camera???? this is not a critism this is a question.

The mind is a very strange thing, the human thought process works in starnge ways... I understand your point CR, you know what you want to do until it actually happens and then after the sighting you think "Damn why did I not take a picture" and then it is too late. You are in awe of this spectacular sighting and by the time it registers it has dropped below the surface. You did though watch it for about 10 minutes in one sighting surely you must have thought about a picture then or was this when you first witnessed it?
Canadian Rottweiler
Mar 9 2005, 10:09 AM
Correct, was my first sighting.I was young, not thinking about pics, just watchin from a cliff edge,it was so peaceful,so beautiful, amazing unexplainable sight.Nobody can fully understand unless they have witnessed it...
